ONE MONTH LATER...

My bags are packed and in the car, Lacey stuff is also in the boot and we are jumping up and down in excitement!!

"Girls lets go" said Dad grabbing he's keys and heading out to the car. We race outside Lacey gets the front seat like always, but I don't mind. I fall asleep smiling thinking that maybe i will make some new friends!

2 hours later we arrive though a set of big and fancy gates with the SGA built into the metal frame work was the entrance into the academy. When we drove thru the gates big tall oak trees lined the sides of the drive way with white wash fences just behind them. The driveway itself was black gravel.At the end of the driveway we got to a roundabout that was a tall mermaid fountain made of white marble. The main three story building for the academy was just behind the fountain. Of the right and left were parking spaces.

Dad parked and we got out and went inside the office thru a pair of double oak door. Inside was a warm and inviting waiting room with comfy looking couches and a desk to the left of the room.Straight across from the doors was another set of oak doors. Next to the desk was a small white door with a red cross on it. That must be the infirmary. Next to the infirmary door was a set of stairs leading upstairs. Probably the offices for teaches and stuff. The third floor is for teachers living rooms.

Lacey and I stop here and tell the teachers our names and they give us a map. Dad signs some paper work. Was walk out of second set of doors opened into a giant outdoors courtyard with paths thru the grass and a few small trees dotted here and there. The whole courtyard must be about an acre! Two story buildings came off the main building and went along both sides of the courtyard. As we step outside my jaw drops! Lacey pushes up my jaw and i got bright red

"Thanks Lacey"

"Hope you didn't catch any flies" said Lacey laughing at me.

We walked through the archway all the ground was grey gravel until the buildings. Fields with beautiful horses all shapes and sizes and colours too! The gravel road from earlier came around the corner of the right building. Opposite the archway was a two story barn with a feed and tack room in-between and a office above them, i know that from the website. Next to them rooms is a garage nearly two stories high with a fancy truck, two trailers and a really nice gooseneck. Also two dual cab Ute's were there as well.

A giant oak door slides open in the middle of the barn. It has two aisles you can go down because of the barn being so big; it holds forty 14x14 stalls. A set of small oak doors leads out the back of the right aisle to a indoor arena for dressage and jumping you can also go through that one into a covered arena. On the second story of the barn is a feed loft and five rooms for the grooms to live in.

Another set of small oak doors opens at the back of the left aisle to a pathway that goes five kilometres to the cross country course. On the left side, just behind the barn are a few turnout yards, a round pen and a five space horse walker. Further along the pathway is where the outside dressage and jumping rings are along with a few other rings for just plain riding.

I'm jumping up and down inside! I can't believe I'm here! It's even better than the photos! We walk back to towards the car and get all our bags and walk back to the office to get our room keys and our room numbers. My room number is 19 yay my lucky number I'm also in dorm Walker and Lacey room is 31 also in Walker dorm so where close together which is good.

I walk in to my room there is two beds one on each wall. There is a desk that is almost 2 meters long, there's a desk lamp and shelves with 4 draws. I see a door so i open it and look inside there is a private bathroom which we have to share, i look in the other door and there is a walk in wardrobe! It is massive! Its for both of us to use.

I picked the bed near the window and look out i can see the horse yards it is a amazing i feel like jumping up and down and screaming on the spot. Dad helped me make my bed than went and helped Lacey. Half and hour later Dad comes in and tell me he has to go because he wants to get home before dark.

"Bye Dad" i say hugging him tight i let a couple of tears go i let dad go and go stand with Lacey who is staying strong. I watch Dad drive down the drive stopping the tears till i can't see him than i just let it all go. Lacey hugs me and we start walking towards our dorm my arm around her shoulder and her arm around my waist. i get to and say good bye to Lacey. I start to unpack everything making it feel like home. But then again this isn't home.

"All students to the dining room please" said someone over the PA.

"Knock, Knock" i heard Lacey say

"Yea coming" i say pulling on my shoes and walking out and meeting Lacey. We walk down to the dining room and students are walking in from all doors, girls screaming and gigging, running and hugging each other. Lacey and I stand there looking stupid.

"Girls please take a seat" said some lady knows name i don't know yet... We take a seat staying close together, a group of girls take up seats around us smiling at us and we smile back.

"Welcome everyone to Seagate Academy" everyone went quite."Welcome the new students welcome back the old students! My name is Mrs Kelly as some of you know I'm the principle of Seagate Academy. We have so many sports equine, Dance, art, football, soccer, basketball, hockey, netball, drama, singing, photography. You all do maths, science, English and Society and environment. You will get you your time tables tomorrow. Thats all thank you everyone. Riding students you will get be meeting your horses tomorrow. Everyone feel free to walk around and meet new people, make the most out of your schooling here at Seagate Academy!"

Hey guys! This a long chapter for you the amazing people who read this story. This one is different from the last chapter in laceys pov and we will try to that more often now.
