It was around midday when you got the call from Teddy inviting you over to hang out, so you started the short walk to his house. When you arrived, he was waiting for you on the front porch. A smile quickly made its way onto your face when he got up and opened his arms. You giggled and ran into his arms. He held you tight and kissed the top of your head. 'Hey beautiful.' Teddy greeted. 'Hey Teddy Bear.' You returned. Teddy pulled away and took your hand, leading you to the front door. His mother was in kitchen probably starting dinner when you walked inside. 'Hey mom, we're just gonna go hang out in my room.' Teddy said. His mother turned around and smiled at you. 'Well hello, Y/N! That's fine dear, but no funny business, you hear?' His mother said. Teddy just rolled his eyes. 'Yes mom.' He said as he pulled you to his room. The two of you spent a while in his room just talking and hanging out until you decided to go outside. You and Teddy started to play armies, but it started to rain. The two of you laughed as you ran inside but not before being soaked by the rain. You both walked up to Teddy's room and changed from your wet clothes into some of Teddy's dry ones. You were in one of Teddy's army green shirts and a pair of his jeans that were too big for you. After a while, the rain had gotten worse, and the wind had picked up. There was loud thunder and lightning, then suddenly, the lights went out. 'What the hell?' Teddy whispered. 'Teddy, Y/N, come down for a moment please!' His mom yelled up the stairs. 'Coming!' You both yelled at the same time. The two of you felt your way downstairs, your hands intwined helping each other. You saw Teddy's mother sitting on the couch with candles lit around her and the radio in front of her. The man on the radio was saying something about fallen trees and damaged power lines. '-people are being warned to stay off roadways and to stay indoors until the morning.' You looked to Teddy who just squeezed your hand. 'Well, we can't have you going home in weather like this. You can stay with Teddy tonight and I'll call your parents when I can.' His mother told you. 'Thank you Mrs. Duchamp.' You smiled at her. She smiled back and stood up. 'Who's up for dinner?'
