Chapter 41

Fiona's p.o.v

We all sat there in an awkward silence. Jay had ran off with the marshmallows so none of us would have any. Lyeya was pretty bummed about it.

"I'm gonna go make sure Jayla didn't sneak into the cabin and kill Liam." Niall announced standing up and leaving the circle.

We continued to sit there in silence. Five minutes later Niall, Court, and Liam walked out of the cabin. "Why are you all so quite?" Liam asked seeming oblivious to the situation.

"Moving on to a more important subject,"Court said sitting down next to me, " where's Jayla?" she asked.

"Well she threw marshmallows at me," I began to say. "Then she yelled something about black going with everything, and ran away with all of the marshmallows." Zayn finished.

"Only my sister." Zach said throwing a stick into the fire.

"Wait, back up like 276,541,980 feet. Jayla is your sister?" Lyeya asked dumbfounded. "Like not to be rude or anything, but your white." she added.

"Real subtle." I whispered sarcastically.

"He's adopted." Court sighed.

"Considering we've gone to school together since like first grade, and I was your cousin's boyfriend, shouldn't you have known this?" Zach asked.

"Don't start with me." Lyeya said rolling her eyes.

"You were Courtney's boyfriend?" Harry asked joining the conversation. I rolled my eyes knowing that this conversation could go on forever.

I looked down at my phone and saw that I got a notification.

"WHAT IS THIS LIFE!?!?!"

"Fi, what happened? Did another fictional character die?" Court asked.

"THE BAE FOLLOWED ME ON TWITTER!!" I yelled.

"Congratulations?" Louis said wearily.

"I hate to ruin your excitement Fi, but who is the bae?" Niall asked.

"Well..." I trailed off.

Lyeya's p.o.v

"I'm going find some marshmallows." I said walking away from the group. I knew they wouldn't follow me, and I'm glad they didn't.

There has been a lot of information to take in. I'm also really hungry. Just to add to that, I must be the only one who notices that every time someone mentions Court and Zach's relationship, Liam looks like he's just been stabbed in the heart. Multiple times.

Court must really mean that much to him. Just wait until he meets our crazy, and slightly overprotective family.

Fiona's p.o.v

"Court, do you wanna go look for Jayla with me?" I asked turning to one of my fabulous partners in fabulousness.

If you haven't noticed, my favorite word is fabulous.

"Yeah, sure." she said standing up and walking towards the trail. For a while we walked in silence. it's wasn't an awkward silence though, since we are best friends.

"Are we thinking the same thing?" she said after a while. "Probably." I responded.

I was thinking about how we forgave Jocelyn. I'm starting to think that when she freaked out in Starbucks that day, it had nothing to do with Liam.
