We arrived at the hospital and I still don't have a clue why Caius brought me here. He said that his work here is not urgent but here we are. He didn't bring his things as well so maybe he doesn't need them.

Once our foot stepped in the hospital, some nurse quickly head towards Caius and started asking some questions and informing him some details about his patients. But I'm impressed at how he handles them so lightly and professionally. I stand behind him as we walk towards his office when I catch a glimpse of Jonny at the nurse's station, reading some papers.

"Hey Jonny!" I called. 

He raised his head upon hearing my voice and saw me coming with Caius and there was surprise in his eyes. "Shanaya, hi." A smile spreads his lips. "You're back here, huh? I hope you are not intending to be the patient again."

"Shut up." I rolled my eyes. Caius stopped from walking as well and stayed beside me. "So, how has its been going with your son?"

"Oh, everything is fine. He's with me every weekend." He replied. "That's better than not seeing him. How about you two?"

"We're doing amazing." Caius replied, his voice deep.

"That's good to know." Jonny smiled. "So, what brings you back here?"

I shrugged. "Actually I don't know, Caius just brings me here without telling me the reason."

Caius narrowed his eyes at me after saying that but he just grabs my wrist before he walks past Jonny. "I will talk to you when I get back, Dr. Thompson." He told him then head towards his clinic somewhere at the end hallway.

"Talk to you later, Jonny!" I shouted so he could hear me. Then when we got inside Caius' clinic office, I glared at him. "That was very rude, I'm still talking to my friend."

"And I just ended it." He grunted, taking a seat on his office desk near the window. He opened his drawer and searched his files then read it.

I hope he didn't want me to just stare at him the whole time he is studying a case of his patient though. Well, good thing that there is a lounge area at the centre so I hope I won't get too bored in here. The interior of his clinic is very clean and ordered. Not a single dirt that can be seen on the floor, on the shelves or on the tables. Everything is well arranged and decorated.

There are not too much things but his office is very modern. Starting from the dark blue walls, white ceiling, there are some white posts, a black carpet below his desk and tons of bookshelves at every corner. At the centre is a lounge area, maybe for visitors or patients. He also had some medical equipments around.

"I won't stay here long." He said, approaching me to sit down at the same couch that I was on. There is a space between us, like two people can still fit in, but I can really feel his warmth in this distance. Like my body tingles when we sit down in one couch. He crossed one leg on his other thigh and sat down like a gangster. His one arm at the backrest of the couch, actually just a few distance from me.

"Then why did you brought me here?" I asked.

Caius didn't reply, instead he just exhaled loudly. He opened the folder he was holding and read the papers inside. "I have a meeting with the board leaders later. I have a fridge over there, take everything you want. The meeting won't take long so patiently wait for me."

This guy is crazy. He brought me here just to wait? He could have just dropped me off at the house and I will do anything I want there.

I was gonna say my complain when someone knocked on the door. Everything around me darkens when I saw that it was Prey who came in, she is wearing her lab coat on but it is too open to see the tight red halter dress beneath it. This woman surely loves red because she even partnered her clothes with her red lips, red manicured nails and sparkling red stilettos.
