The blanket of the night is still as thick as ever. Torches lighting the way between the rich woods, they saw large fields filled with crops and what seems to be barracks. There are few Japanese troops, patrolling here and there.

"Boys," Crowley glanced at the group of Übersoldats.

"Remember, you have two minutes. I won't be waiting for your signal or whatever." The reply Crowley got is a salute-- a quiet, yet fast and firm Nazi salute. Right arm raised to the air. Crowley stayed quiet for a while.

"...and we're gonna fix that when we finish this." He pointed out.

Crowley assumes that the Dutch East Indies does not even know what is the National Socialism partyー which, at this point, might already be in ruins with what's left of Berlin. But maybe they still exist even though it's in the moment of desperation, considering Clausewitz is in effectー basically, giving every civillians and military people weapons and with Berlin as front. Quite ballsy, won't stay for long as well.

The SS officer could only rely on his own plan. To join the natives of Dutch East Indiesー even if it means he'll betray Japan, a part of the Axis Powers.

Now, that is not the main issue here. The main issue now is... how to get Rahayu's trust. It is vital for their well-being. The new Wolf's Castle, here in Dutch East Indiesー

Ehem. Back to business. Yes, parahyangan. Japanese. Kill. Slaves. Save. Make the deal and everything is good.

The good thing is, they have brought a souvenir from Germany. Improvised explosive devices using amatol, or unofficially named I.E.D.

"Go on, boys!"

A simple order is what they need, the bushes rustle quietly as the Übersoldats move. Crowley sat down and checked his pocket watch, and with him also is a remote control for the explosives. Two minutes and they will explode by a click.

Crowley trusts his men to be able to carry this simple job.

Two minutes are plenty to set some things up. For example, prepare a party. Crowley actually asked one of the Übersoldats to bring a radio and, a good Übersoldat that he is, the radio is brought here to a random point in the Java Island in the middle of the night.

Crowley rustles through his black jacket and smiled as he took out something. A casette player. Now, everything is set. While the soldier is not looking, he snuck out.

40 seconds left before the supposed detonation.

Crowley stood just beside a large field, filled with corn, and not too far from it are several types of vegetables like lettuce and potatoes. There are also rice fields too.

He crouched down and about to press the play button---

"Hey you!"

Oh shit.

Crowley looked back and he found a Japanese troop shining his flashlight towards himself.

"Who the hell are you?!"

"Whoa, whoa, chill, man. Look! I'm German! We are friends!" Crowley raised his hand, the portable radio near his feet. He then shows his red armband, bearing the mark of tilted Swastika-- the National Socialism.

"We never heard about the Germans coming in!"

The Japanese troop took his radio, about to click on it.

"Wait, wait, wait! I have a reason!" Crowley shouted out, raising his hand. "Look, let's just talk this out, okay?"

Crowley eyed his pocket watch again, he slipped it to his pocket once more. The Japanese is completely ready to call reinforcements to his current spot, yet still confused whether he should do it or not. Because the German is a part of the Axis Powers, their ally.
