His hand is around my waist and I place my head on his chest. I'm drawing some circle on his chest while he look up the ceiling.

"Veronica, don't you wanna go to the party with me? I'm your best friend after all." I scoffed and tilt my head to look at him. I smile at him and he look at me worriedly.

"Tell me, why do you hate him? And what makes him your rival?" He close his eyes and sigh loudly. I hit his chest and he open his eyes then look at me seriously.

Before I know it, he turn me over so he's on top me. He lock both of my hands beside my head and look at me. "Why should I tell you?" He say softly. I roll my eyes and look at him.

"Because, I'm your best friend and you would do anything for me to be happy. If you don't tell me what's the answer to my question, I'll be very sad." I pout and bat my lashes. He smirk and lean closer.

"I.Don't.Care." he says the word slowly and started leaning in. He look at my lip and I look at his. He lick his lip and our faces are so close now. This is it, he's gonna kiss me.

Suddenly, my phone ring. We both startled and he curse under his breath. I move a lil to get my phone and pick it up.

He's still on top of me and he's annoyed by the phone call. "Hey,Hayl. What's up?"

"Ver, should I get the white dress or the dark blue?"

"What's the occasion?"

"The party,bitch. Just choose one for me."

"White. Your skin is better with white anyway."

"Awesome. I bought you a black dress and you're wearing it. See you tomorrow to get ready. Luv u."

"Luv u too."

I hang up and look at Daniel. He sigh and I look at him. He get off me and sit next to me. He's pissed. "What's wrong?" I sit in front of him and wrap my hands around his neck. He look down and stay quiet.

"Daniel, is it about a girl? Talk to me." I lift his chin and he look into my eyes. I crack a smile and he return the gesture. "It's nothing."

I sit on his lap and he look at me. "Don't be sad,then. Please." I pout and he chuckle. He pull me into a hug and bury his face in my neck.

"I don't know if I could live without you,Veronica." I smile and hug him tighter. "Good. I'll never leave you,Daniel." I could feel him smiling on my neck.

Hayley and I are putting on our make up. I curl my hair as soon as I'm done. I'm wearing a tight black dress that goes above my knees and a pair of black heels.

I grab my things and Hayley look at me. "You okay?" She look at me worriedly. I smile at her and tuck some hair behind my ear. "Yeah. Why wouldn't I be?"

"You told me that Daniel tried to kiss you so I figured I should ask." I scoffed and smile. "I'm fine. He's just teasing me." She look at me confusingly.

"You sure about that?" I look at her confusingly. "What do you mean?" She chuckle and sit on my bed. "I mean like, do you notice that Daniel haven't fuck any girl these few months? He spent most of his time with you. He never does that."

I laugh and she look at me seriously. "Look, maybe he's just trying to be better,okay? No biggie." She look at me and crossed her arms over her chest. "Yeah, better for who?"

I shake my head and look at myself in the mirror. "Stop, let's just go,okay?" She nodded and we walk to her car. She drive us to the party while singing to the song on the radio.

As we arrived at the party, we walk in to an amazing loud party with drunk kids all over it. Parties. I walk in and saw Nate smiling at me. He walk towards me and give me a hug.

"Hey. Let's get some drinks." I nodded and follow him to the bar. We drink up shots and laugh about our childhood memories.

"I accidentally threw a rock at the neighbor's dog and it barks so loud. The owner was like searching everywhere for the reason it barks." I laugh and he join me.

"Let's dance." I put down the cup and drag him to the dance floor. He hug me from behind and I started dancing with him. He spin me around and hug me from behind while smiling.

I chuckle as he pull my back closer to him. I turn around and wrap my hands around his neck while we both look at each other. He smile at me and I return the gesture.

He lean in while looking at my lip. He tighten his grip on my waist and pull me closer to him. I giggle and he just smile.

The next thing I know is, he smashed his lip on mine softly. I kiss him back slowly. His tounge enter my mouth and kiss me even more.

We pull away and gasp for air while laughing. "It's late. Let's take you home." I look around and saw Hayley is occupied. I agree with him and walk with him to his car.

He didn't drink since he's not the type who drinks at some party when he's the one who drives. I buckle up and he drive to mine.

As we arrived at mine,I look at him with a smile. "I had fun tonight. Thank you." He smile and nodded. I squeeze him into a hug and he hug me back. "I'll see you soon,k?"

I nodded and get out from his car. I get in the house and enter my room. I'm on cloud nine about the party just now.

He's so sweet and I don't know why Daniel would hate him. I tossed myself on my bed and quickly fell asleep.
