A week later...
~at mine~
I'm face timing Hayley right now. She and I have been talking about some guy in her class that started flirting with her.

"Well,Hayl. Looks like you got a lover." I tease her and she blush. "K. But seriously, have you made up with Daniel yet?" I shake my head and she yell "ohmygod".

"Just say sorry and makeout with him. It's not that hard." My eyes widen and gasp. "Hayley! I can't kiss him." I whisper angrily.

"But you want to, right?" I sigh loudly and look at her. "I mean,sure. But it's wrong and he'll ended up pushing me off the ground. Even further than he did." I look down at my nails.

"Well, it's worth a shot. It's never wrong to be confident." I roll my eyes and yawn. "You know what,I'm gonna go. See ya." She wave and we ended the call.

I lay my back on the bed and look up the ceiling. Suddenly, my door slowly opens. I look at it and it's nothing. Probably just the wind so I continue gazing at the ceiling.

Then the door opens widely and I heard someone groan in pain. I quickly get off my bed and rush to the person. It's Daniel.

"What are you doing?!" I whisper at him and he just look at me while smiling. He chuckle and lay on his back. "Can you take me to your bed?"

I help him off the floor and put him on my bed. I look at his knuckles and it's bleeding with bruises all over them. I gasp and look at him worriedly.

"What did you do now?" He chuckle and look at me. "I uh.. stood up for you." I look at him confusingly and he just smile.

"How?"

"By punching Nate till he can't even get up or talk. Gotta say it's pretty bad. More like worse than I've ever did to anyone." He scoffed and close his eyes. I look at him unbelievably.

"Well, he definitely deserve it but you piece of shit, don't. Only I get to beat you up, asshole." He laugh and stop as he hold his stomach.

I quickly lift up his shirt and his abs is bruised. I gasp and quickly get the first aid. I take his knuckle and slowly wiping off the blood with some cotton balls.

He look at me while I'm treating him. "You're staring." He chuckle and smile. "Can't help it." I roll my eyes and smile at myself. "Just because I'm treating you, doesn't mean we're cool."

He scoffed. "I don't expect you to be cool after what I did, Veronica. What I did was messed up and it's the biggest mistake I've ever done. I regret it. I really do." I listen to his words and her really meant it.

My insides started feeling warm and flatter after what he said. I look up at him as I'm done. "All done. You can sleep. It's night anyway." I look at him and smile.

He look at me and lean in while looking at my lip. I look at his and move away before he kiss me."You should get some rest. Goodnight,Daniel." I put the first aid back at it's place and walk out from the room.
