Seven's phone beeped along with a flash of light. She groaned. She wasn't ready for another mission. She rolled to her side, threw the duvet off and reached for her phone at the bedside table. The screen lighted up and a notification popped up.

"Mission: Retrieve Next Member of Phantom Alpha"

She stared at the title of her next mission and blinked several times. "WAIT WHAT?!" she shouted in shock and pushed herself up. However, her hand slipped at the edge and she tumbled onto the floor. "Ow~" she rubbed on the elbow she landed on to break her fall.

"Another member huh?" she mumbled to herself. "I've barely even gotten used to the team yet..." She sighed. She'll read the rest of the details later. She skimmed through the mission outline. After seeing the venue and timing for the Team's briefing, she jumped to her feet and went to take a fast shower.

She was the last to arrive to the room. Four was standing up, leaning against the wall, as if he's taking a short nap. A small shadow was at his feet to which Seven realises that it was the puppy Five gave him. She wonder what did Four name her. Eight and Five sat next to each other and were already bickering about something light-hearted. But as soon as they saw her, they stopped and smiled, giving her a small wave. Nine and Three seems to be discussing about the mission details while Six seems to be engrossed with the layout of the map placed in front of him.

She took a seat beside Zero and did a fist bump with him. As much as she didn't think she was ready for the next mission, she can't deny that she was excited to show Team Devastation's synergy for the first time to the team. She and Zero had worked extremely hard together the past few months, on top of the intense training Four has offered to Zero.

Nine led the briefing. "So the higher ups have already caught wind of newest member for our Team. As we know, we still have two available positions left in our team: One and Two."

Seven listened with interest. There were going to be two more members before Phantom Alpha is a complete team.

"This mission is to find and persuade. You guys know the drill." Nine continued. Eight and Five seemed to sit up straighter than usual. It seems like this is the type of mission where they are the core initiators.

"Unfortunately, this mission is going to be much harder than our last scouting mission."

"You mean the one where you guys had found me?" Seven piped up.

Nine smiled fondly at her. Three made an excited bark of laughter, " I remember that! We were just lucky enough that Zero got all itchy to get into a fight and bumped into you."

Nine cleared his throat. "Yes. It's the same type of mission. However, it'll be much harder this time."

"How so?" Six asked, curious.

"Well, remember that the hard part of the previous was to locate Seven in the vast Wastelands, with only knowing the last stop the nomads took?"

The team nodded their heads, recalling their work.

"We at least had her face and was able to more or less have some kind of estimation for her location. With some data at least, Three and I were able to pick out the most possible location she would be at. However," he stressed, "This time, we do not have a single data on our next member except the fact that it's a she."

The room went silent and even Four looked up.

"What?!" a chorus of voice shouted. Nine sighed and Three laughed at our response.

"Not even a picture? How are we going to find her then?" Five made a face.

"What if we don't find her?" Eight asked softly, already deep in thought.
