Isabella's POV

I wake up to my phone dinging signaling that I have a new message. Siri reads out the message saying its from Shawn. I smile reading the message and decide to facetime him. I hear the little noise that signifies that he picked up.

"Hey you! You look sleepy, did I wake you with my message?" His voice booms out of my speaker.

"Nooo I needed to wake up anyway, how was the interview?" I say rubbing my eyes and yawning.

"It was good, nothing interesting though. I just got back to my hotel room and now i'm bored. Actually, what are you doing right now?" he says.

"Nothing, I was just gonna catch up on homework but that can wait." I smile wondering if he wants to hang out.

"Cool, I need to work on some stuff for my job if you want to work on things together?" he responds sounding hopeful.

"Yeah! I'd like that, I hate being alone to be honest." I reply getting up and going to my bathroom feeling for my brush.

"Alright, i'll be there in a couple of minutes! See you!" he says excitedly and hangs up.

I try my best to brush my hair and I put it in a high ponytail. I grab my bookbag and head downstairs and turn on my tv. I bring a couple of blankets and pillows from the closet throwing them on the couch. While i'm separating everything I hear a knock on the door. Wow that was pretty fast. I head to the door and open the door smiling.

"Hey! I ordered pizza on the way here so it should be here. I hope you like sausage and pepperoni." He says walking in, a loud sound hitting the door frame.

"I love it thank you! And what was that? What did you bring?" I ask walking to the couch sitting down on the pillows and blankets.

"Oh this is just my guitar case, my boss wants me to write a couple of songs so that's what im gonna be working on." he says sitting closely next to me.

"Ooooo songs eh? Look at you, well I can't wait to hear it." I say smiling towards him.

"Im not that good so sorry if i disappoint" he says laughing taking out his guitar.

"Do you want me to turn off the tv?" I say while grabbing the remote ready to turn it off until I hear E news come on.

"Um ye-yeah please turn it off" he says stuttering a bit.

"Awww you're not interested in celebrities latest news?? Their lives are so interesting like when they get coffee at starbucks. Ugh I have always wanted to know Justin Bieber's starbucks order." I say sarcastically about to turn it off.

"Who is Shawn Mendes' new girl? Shawn was seen holding hands with a mysterious girl yesterday and they seemed pretty cozy! Would you say Lauren?" the news anchor guy says.

Who is Shawn Mendes? I have never heard of him before, is he a new celebrity?

"Well Ryan, he mentioned in the radio interview this morning that it was just a friend who tripped and that it was just for stability. I bet many girls have their fingers crossed that friends are the only thing they are, but we all know that is what they all say before they come out as a couple." Lauren i'm guessing says.

"Well, whatever she is to him, I am happy and proud of Shawn. He has so much success at such a young age, I can't wait to see what he does next." Ryan says as a song plays in the background. It kinda sounds like Shawn's voice but that's too much of a coincidence...right? There is no way a celebrity has taken an interest in knowing me. No way. I look at Shawn who is sitting quietly next to me.

"Alright, um homework time!" I say as I turn off the tv and I open my bookbag feeling for my books.

"Um yeah." He says shuffling next to me and sighing.

"Actually, I have something to tell you." He says sighing again and I hear him turn to me.

"Oh okay sure." I say cautiously. What if he's a creep and has been lying to me this entire time? Damnit I shouldn't have put so much trust in him.

"Ummm, well...im Shawn Mendes, the guy they were talking about on the TV." He says shaking a little bit. I feel my mouth open in shock.
