"Have you found a Pro Hero to intern under yet, Mizuko?" Aizawa asks, holding his bored expression expertly as he stared at the girl that sat across from him.

Nazumi smiles and nods weakly. Shed gotten her hair cut to her shoulders, and her bandages were finally removed, revealing her fresh light scars. "I've decided to work under Endeavor. I believe that his perspective on Quirk usage will greatly benefit me."

Her teacher was shocked by her choice but respected it. "Alright. Trials will begin next week." He stands up, just as she does, and walks out of the teacher's lounge and into the busy hallway, "Try not to push yourself. You are technically still recovering from your wounds and-"

"Yes, I know all too well." She interrupts with a kind smile, entering the classroom right beside him. "But as a Hero in training, I should be- and am- willing to sacrifice anything to become a great Hero."

Aizawa grinned at this, now fully aware of what she wanted. Katsuki Bakugou had told- warned- him of her worries of becoming a Hero. Somehow, she managed to pick herself up after she was released from the hospital a few weeks ago.

"Be prepared; Endeavor is not one to go easy on his students."

She chuckles, turning to look at him with a confident look in her eyes. "I'm glad to hear that. I'm looking forward to what he has in stock for me."

"Your scars are almost completely gone." Ochaco observes from across Nazumi's bedroom. They were currently changing to go swimming at the beach.

While undressing, Ochaco noticed that her friends scars were fading quickly.

Nazumi turned around with pink grazing her cheeks, "I hope so, I've been healing them twice a day in hopes they'll completely fade. Though, this one doesn't seem to want to fade away like the rest." She motions to her stomach where she'd been impaled by Raven's spear. Ochaco sees the sad look in her eyes.

"I think it's beautiful." She says with a kind smile. "It kinda looks like a star, see?" The girls attention was now drawn on the star-shaped scar.

Nazumi halfheartedly grinned.

"I suppose it does."

"That means the scars of fate is on your side!" Ochaco cheers loudly, earning her to get a strange look from Nazumi.

"I don't understand-"

"The stars of fate decided they wanted you to live. They think you have greatness in you, they have faith in you!" She points at the scar, "That's proof that they're on your side!"

Nazumi blinks a few times, not quite understanding. Regardless of her confusion, she laughs proudly at her bubbly friend. "I suppose you're right. Thank you!"

After they were in their bathing suits, the two girls walk out to the beach. Nazumi deeply inhaled the sweet, salty air. It reminded her of her old home in America, when she lived in California.

The sand was soft and white, the ocean had a sweet, salty, fresh smell. The water was clear until it reached the drop off.

"It feels great!" Ochaco was stretching, readying herself for a long day of swimming.

Nazumi agreed with a simple smile and nod. She sat her towel and small cooler down on the spot thy were at, watching the other people around her smiling and laughing and having fun.

A couple walked by, talking of school and work. The man's arm was draped around her shoulders and he held her close.

Nazumi nibbles on her lip, wishing that Katsuki was with her.
