"I'm... Are you sure it's okay to go?" Nazumi questions unsurely as she glances around at the empty streets. It was nearly noon and there wasn't a person in sight.

It was unsettling.

He presses his lips together and rubs her head with hand tenderly, "Don't worry, nothing's gonna happen to you while I'm here." He huffs tiredly, "And we're just gonna go see my old man and hag. I promised them you'd stop by."

She cocks her head, her eyebrows pushed together with confusion all over her face.

"Old man and hag? Do you mean your parents?"

"Whatever the fuck you wanna call them, Nazumi."

She smiles, excitement creeping its way into her chest as she thought about it. What were they like? Did they like her?

As she's in deep thought, she feels Katsuki's arm snake around her shoulder and pull her close to his body. But when she looks up at him curiously he shows nothing but a normal scowl.

Oh boy.

She grins at his not-so-secretly way of showing affection and continues to follow his lead down the sidewalk in complete silence. It didn't bother in the slightest, either. The quietness between them was comfortable.

The sun was barely warming her enough, but thanks to Katsuki's warm touch, she didn't have any problems staying warm. Even with the teeth-chattering breezes that would blow by every so often.

The only thing that bothered her about him touching her so much was the mere fact that it gave her chills or an electric-like feeling throughout her body. But she enjoyed them to the point it worried her. She barely knew the guy and she was allowing him to touch her as if he owned her and it drove her crazy.

There was just something about him that made her second think everything that involved running away– like something was drawing her to him. It was frustrating but she loved it all the same.

"We're here," He halts and she snaps out of her trance to look at the modern home before her, "Since you don't remember them, try not to freak out at their forwardness. They're old and going senile–"

"I HEARD THAT YOU LITTLE BITCH." She jumps at the sound of Mitsuki's powerful voice echoing through the neighborhood. Katsuki's freezes and she hears him groan out angrily.

"PISS OFF OLD HAG."

"IS THAT HOW YOUR FRIENDS TALK TO THEIR MOTHERS? I SURE FUCKING HOPE NOT." A woman who looked exactly like Katsuki slams the front door open and marches towards them with her chin held high with pride, her eyes trained on her son. "AND YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE HERE HALF AN HOUR AGO. WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?"

She suddenly stops yelling and locks eyes with the nervous girl in Katsuki's arms, a kind smile on her face.

"Welcome back home, Nazumi dear. I've been so excited to see you again! I even made cookies!" She cheers.

Nazumi nods slowly with a nervous laugh, "S-Sounds great, Miss..."

Mitsuki's eyes soften, almost like her feelings were diminished, and she puts a gentle hand on Nazumi's shoulder.

"Call me Mitsuki, hun." She breathes out and gives Katsuki a sad glance before motioning to the door, "Please, please, come on in! Masaru is at a business trip so he won't be joining us for lunch... I hope you don't mind dear."

Nazumi shakes her head and bows lightly, "Th-Thank you for having me over, Miss Mitsuki."

"Aw shucks, it's Mitsuki. Just Mitsuki, okay?" She giggles, ushering the two into the home with an excited skip.
