-Kou! Kou!, Morry screamed while rushing through the glass door, while we were eating breakfast. Kou looked at him, with dark rings around his eyes.
-Morry...?
-Kou!? What happened?
-We stayed up all night, but the Ogre never came.
-Thats the reason I came! I found the corpse of the Ogre laying around in the clearing!
-Are you sure its the corpse?
-Definetly.
-But...

-I could see it... with my eyes..., Morry clarified to Kou.
-Well that proves it... But how could it have dropped dead so suddenly? There was lightning last night, and Ogres are weak to high exposure to light, but I doubt it's possible to get hit by that much lightning that it would die last night.
-It must have had really bad luck. It looked like a popped balloon. It was hardly recognizable, but I found its jaw familiar. Its bitten me more than once, so I would know...

-No way! The Ogre too?
Morry sat down and studied me across the table.

-Sorry, I can't see anything...
Morry laughed loudly.
-No need to be shy about it! I have never been much of a magician! No wonder I have no aura.

-Much of...?, Kou questioned sarcastically.
-I know, I know., Morry said while clapping Kou on the shoulder.
-Leave the Ogre examination to me. With this research, I think I can win the prize this year. Ive never seen detailed studies on Ogres, this will be a breakthrough!
-That's what you always say., Kou laughed. -I heard old Robert has been researching something interesting too. The Magical science prize will be a rough contest this year.
-You just wait Kou!
Morry went back to the hall, and searched for something in between the boxes and cabinets. I saw him study a black glass bottle, and put it in his pocket. Kou didn't seem to mind him. Morry also didn't seem to mind the hole in the wall.

-By the way, boy., Kou begun before I got to ask about the magical science prize.
-Yes Kou?
-We are running out of food. You see, I didn't
expect a longer visit like this so soon, though I am really happy that you are here. I don't know for how long I can keep this house in good shape. Keeping the house lit. Keeping the house reinforced at night. And also, keeping the ghost asleep...

-Why don't you keep the ghost awake at all times? Since it can defend against Ogres so easily...
-Because, you cannot control it. Aggressive ghosts like this kills whatever is in sight. Even though we have trained it with all our might, I still can't trust it blindly. There is a reason I told you to run for your life after shattering the ghost sphere. Do you understand, boy?
-Of course...
-Are you going to call him "boy" forever, Kou? That sounds lame, you know.,
Kou looked at me. I finished eating my toast.
-It's okay. He isn't nameless, Morry. He just can't remember it., Kou explained with a smile.
I smiled back, agreeing to his ideology.

-My point is that at any rate, we need to do a run to the town today. You are coming with me too., Kou ordered and pointed at me. I felt the chills gliding down my neck.

-That would... lead us to the orphanage., I sighed.
-exactly., Kou smiled. Kou got up, and started looking through his wallet. He told me to wash the dishes, while he made everything ready for the trip. He grabbed a huge backpack, big enough for me to hide inside. I followed into the hall when I was done, and he reached me a few plastic bottles.
-Fill these with cold tap- water.
-But Kou, the bus trip to the town is only 30 minutes or so. Will we really need this?
-We are not taking the bus., Kou explained.
