"Hey tony." You say sweet after killing the music, he spun his chair looking at you.
"Daydreamer, to what do I owe this wonderful surprise?" He asked, you bit your bottom lip, knowing Bucky was going to fly off the handle when he found out.
"So I was wondering, there was incident that happened last night down at the warehouses..." You start, but he holds up his hand, stopping you from saying more.
"And you want to go?" He asked, putting his hand back to his lap.
"Yes." You replied, crossing your fingers.
"Two questions, are you physically able to hold up to it? I heard about your fire starter episode. And how pissed is freezer burn going to be? Cause if you're coming to me I doubt that he agreed to take you." He flipped his words quickly. You took a deep breath, evidently everyone in the tower already knew about what happened last night.
"Yes, I can do this Tony, I'm tired of everyone treating me like broken glass. I'm only two months pregnant, not disabled." You told him coarsely. "And I promise you once James is up and moving, he'll be super pissed."
"All right, lets go then." He popped up off his chair to much of your surprise. He snagged his coat off the back of the chair as he brushed past you.
"Look Steve, I get everyone being worried about the girl. But she's a grown ass woman, capable of making her own choices." Tony voice said as you looked at the screen seeing Steve in the monitor.
"Tony, she can't go. No more missions for her, not until after the baby." Steve shook his head, you heard Tony groan.
"What if I made some tech?" Tony offered. Steve's look of disapproval shown through the screen as he shook his again.
"Are you coming?" Tony asked bringing you back to the present. You shook the thought from your head, turning to meet him at the door.
"Thank you." You told him, holding his contact for a minute.
"Don't thank me yet. And us both a favor, don't turn into a Kentucky fried sight seer, kay?" He smiled, before turning and leaving the room. No promises, you thought to yourself

Half an hour later and you were down in the industrial part of the cities. Long abandoned warehouses after warehouses, but you found the target of your nightmare.
The burnt out haul of what was left of the building charred and twisted metal. Surrounded by yellow tape with guards posted, one of them held up his hand as you  and Tony approached. You could feel an odd pull deep in your chest as you neared the remains.
"Stop right there. No one gains entry." The man stated as you both walked up, Tony pulled his sunglasses off, tucking them into the pocket of his jacket.
"Kid, you know who I am?" Tony asked as the man's jaw went slack. "We're here to help."
"Mr. Stark, I... yes of course." He held the yellow tape for you both to go in. Something told you in the back of your head that after this there would be no turning back, something wick this way went.
"Alright, y/n, the rest up to you. I got you here." Tony stated, as he stopped in what used to be the center of the warehouse. Your eyes landed on the metal beam, soot covered every inch of it, the ends melted.
You took a deep breath as you closed your eyes to it. A voice in the back of your head told you to turn back now. Gently you placed your hand on the beam.
"Why? Why did you bring us here?" A woman's voice screamed, echoing off the walls.
You continued to look around the wreckage, something in your mind recognize the phantom voice.
"Why? You ask me why?" He yelled back, anger in his words so strong you could feel it in your body.
You snapped your head back to Tony, he flipped through his phone quietly, allowing you to do your work.
"It was because of you, and everyone at that facility that ended up the way I am. But her, you let her go, filled her some bullshit memories." He yelled, his anger reaching a boiling point.
You couldn't see him, couldn't see the memory but you knew. You already knew that he was the one that burned down the building with her and the other person in the building. A slow year rolled down your cheek for the two lives lost.
"We didn't let her go, it was the old woman. Experiment 4 was supposed to be terminated just like you were." A man hissed back.
Experiment? They were talking about people, as if they were nothin but lab animals.
"Yes, I already knew the old woman let her go, that's why I burned her from the inside out. And girl is off galavanting around, she doesn't know what you did to us. Why we were made, cause you stole that from her." The man who called you his cousin snapped, that's when it struck you.
Your breathing became labored, they were talking about you. You suddenly felt nauseous, sweat slowly trickled down your forehead. You could hear the tortured screams above the rush of the inferno. He had set the building a blaze with them in it, seeking his own revenge. You closed your eyes, trying to fight back the tears.
You realized your life had been a lie, suddenly your memory became something that you didn't even own. In the two minutes your hand connected to another point in time you went from the woman with a sad past to not even knowing who your truly were.
"Y/n!" A gruff yelled came from behind you as you were suddenly pulled from your thoughts, your hand being violently ripped off from the blackened beam. "What the hell?!"
You looked over your shoulder, anger flickered in your fiancé's face. His mouth a thin hard line, as he glared down at you still in his arms, you snapped your head to where Tony had been standing. He laid on the ground sprawled out, his clothing singed. You looked back to the beam, a hand print melted into it.
"What? What happened?" Your voice shook, trying to figure out what had gone down while you relived this auditory moment.
"You blasted Tony with a fire ball just as I arrived." His voice was filled with anger, you glance back over at Tony as he started to push him up.
"But how?" You asked, looking over your shoulder at him.
"I don't know, y/n." Bucky grabbed a hold of wrists and held them up to your face, both of your hands glowing neon red. "This is why I didn't want you down here!"
