The smell of the alcohol was all over the place. Hunting everyone's nose like a predator.
The different colour lights flashed as a remix of Malo Tebya by Serebro played. The dancers were giving everything they had without hesitation- No wonder, it was Friday and the place was full of males seeking some alcohol and entretaining.
"Here you have" I smiled as I placed a bottle of Vodka and some vessels on a table surrounded by a group of mature men around their thirties.
Some of them thanked me others winked at me-
I was used to it, I started working here three weeks ago but is incredible easy how you get used to those looks and sometimes disgusting comments. I didn't want to work here, not even visit it to spend a weekend night but someone needs to bring money and that someone is me. It's tragically funny how I see my future fading away the more I stay, but there is no way I can escape from this city of robbers and betrayal.
I rested my back on the bar giving the place another quick look to find new customers with alcoholic desires.
Thankfully everyone looked pleased with their drinks cheering to the show.
I sighed leaving my tray on the bar resting my elbows on it as i placed both of my hands on my face.
I always envied all those lucky teenagers that had money to study whatever they wanted but instead they waste their time in stupid jokes, drinking nights and one nights stands. I cursed myself for not being rich as them, but it wasn't my fault anyways, nobody chooses to be born in a broken family.
"Katrina why don't you go and serve that customer over there?" Helen woke me up from my thoughts back to my job.
She was always a nice person, and her vanilla scent and bright teeth always drew a smile on my face.
I nodded turning back to the multiple tables placed infront of the stage.
My eyes descried a solitary man sitting on one of the black couches, somehow he seemed familiar to my eyes.
His black rounded hat and his massive black sunglasses covered part of his face ridiculously as there wasn't much light on the club but once again I remembered that some of the customers were married men searching for fun so maybe he didn't want to be recognise eventhought he didn't look that old to be married, maybe a relationship more than an engagement.
I took my notebook out and made my way to his position. He wasn't facing me directly but i felt his eyes pinned on me which caused me to gulp.
"Hi Sir, would you like to have something to drink?" I asked with a smile on my face smelling his inciting fragrance, after-shave and such an interesting odor he gave.
He didn't make a move, he stayed as he was almost looking like if he was dead.
I coughed awkwardly to make him react.
He crooked his heart-shaped lips into a mysterious smile.
"A Bloody Mary would be perfect" His deep husky voice almost gave me shivers.
I nodded slowly returning him the smile.
It was the first time I actually felt curious about a customer. Normally they would be more sneaky or cocky when they answer but there was no sign of that on his words.
He was charming attractive even with his face almost covered- I promised myself i wouldn't get closer or in touch with a customer, they are not here to find the truth love and that was obvious. Yet this one awoke the insane curiosity I thought it would never happen.
