There i knew, now i know. He is dangerous, much more dangerous than what i thought he was.

He didn't hesitate to hit me, not like he didn't warned me but he had no compassion when it came to disobedience.

How can he be so sweet and then so aggressive in matters of seconds? It's so hard to understands... But what can you expect from a criminal?

The next twenty minutes passed by in complete silence. I was too scared to speak a word after what happened. And i could tell he was still annoyed since his brows were so down and his grip on the steering wheel so harsh it looked like it was about to break at some point.

Finally the car stopped, and to make my fear to grow greater all it came into my sight were thousands of tall trees and a small cliff.

Justin stepped out of the car. Not wanting to cause another scenario i did the same following him to the edge where a small fence stopped people from falling.

Not daring to look at him I turned to the wide revealed night sky infront of us.

My jaw dropped as I described the beautiful view; The dark night illuminated by billions of shiny stars giving the mysterious forest a magical look.

"Do you like it?" The husky voice gave me shivers eventhough it sounded calm.

"Y-yeah it's beautiful..." I stammered still feeling scared but yet amused by the scenery.

"I used to come here with my dad when i was a child, we used to camp here and make a fire, it was really funny" He spoke as a wide smiled occupied his face probably as those memories flashed in his mind.

I envied him for a second, My dad never took me anywhere. Ever since i have conscience my father drank, I knew he had a problem, He drank bottles and bottles of different alcoholic drinks every day, just to leave a dangerous clumpsy man to end into harsh hangovers. I never knew why he started drinking, his desire increased once my mother left us behind and I never had good memories like that, and even now at my 19 I wished I had experienced at least one trip to somewhere with my family.

"Katrina, are you ok?" Justin asked facing me.

I bit on my bottom lip brushing my hair with my fingers just as i always do when im nervous. "Yeah, i was just thinking about something"

"Is it something sad?" He asked still making eye contact with me.

"Kind of" I replied boring my eyes on the space.

"Have you ever been camping?" He asked.

"No, never"

Hi raised one of his eyebrows tilting his head slightly.

"Justin, I need to know something" I stood straight still scared of the possible reactions.

"Yeah?" He flashed me a smile which faded instantly as he saw my facial expression.

"Will I ever be free?" I asked keeping my position.

His expression hardened for a second.

"Ok you want to play a game?" He asked almost laughing, a wide smile on his face.

I frowned in confusion, what was that for?

"A game?" I repeated in a whisper.

"Yeah, if you win you will be free but if you don't... you will be mine forever" He spoke slowly.

He got my total attention as my pores emanated curiosity.

He used the pause to continue explaining. "Take my watch, you have thirty minutes since when i finish explaining to run and hide, after those thirty minutes I will go and look for you, if i don't find you after an hour, you are free but if I find you... you know the rest" He chuckled keeping his gaze on me.

"But what if you don't find me? What if i get lost?" I asked enthusiastic and scared about this game.

He leaned forward to reach my ear, placing his mouth dangerously close next to it. I heard a small muted giggle coming from his heartshaped lips.

"Don't worry baby, i will find you in matters of seconds" He said in a low deep husky voice.

I gulped swallowing saliva before taking a step back.

"Run"

His voice stimulated my body. With one last gaze I turned around facing the immense forest raising over my sight. And i ran as fast as i could entering the dark matter.

My breathing got heavier, it was the only sound apart from some bird noises and my steps on the dried fallen leaves crunching them in the act.

I ran for fifteen minutes, stopping every now and then to see which direction was better to take.

I turned to my left making my way to a dense bush which seemed a good place to hide.

I sat in the middle taking care not to stab myself with any treacherous spine. I made myself comfortable as i rested my back on a rock.

I tried to calm my heavy breath also wiping some sweat droplets forming on my forehead.

I turned down to my right wrist where I embraced the watch minutes before.

00:30. The hunt starts.
