Today was Wednesday. My first tutoring session with Calum. I hated the fact that I had to lie to Luke, telling him I'd gone to the library in town but then again I was doing all of this to protect him. Honestly if I had my way I'd never talk to Calum. I was currently sat outside the music block, waiting for Calum to come out of class. Out of all the courses available to choose I never though Calum would be the one to choose the music one, another thing that made him a little different to the person he 'plays' up to be.
Another 10 minutes passed before Calum came walking out of class. When he saw me a small smile formed on his face and walked towards me, his black guitar bag slung over his back. I gave a small smile back, if Calum was trying to be nice then I should at least return it, despite my hatred towards him. "Umm.. hey" he mumbles, standing in front of me and I reply back, saying hi before we both start walking back towards our rooms. We didn't say a word to one another on our way back to the rooms and Calum walked a little further ahead so I didn't look as if we were walking together.
Once we got to Calum floor in the building he made me wait at the end of the corridor so he could unlock his room and make sure nobody would see me going inside. The last thing we needed, more so me, was someone seeing us going into his room together and then Luke and the others finding out.
When it was clear Calum pointed at his door and I made my way down to his room. "I guess I should do the polite thing and ask if you want a drink" Calum sighs, putting his guitar bag down on the floor and I shut the door behind me. "Um no I'm okay thanks" I mumble, playing with the string on Luke's jumper and he chuckles. "Poppy, I know I hate you guys and stuff but If you think I might put some sort of sleeping pill in your drink then that's silly, I can make you a drink" Calum laughs, walking into his small kitchen and I feel my cheeks heat up. "Um... okay" I say, mentallly punching myself for acting like such an idiot. I'm making myself look weak by mumbling to him. "Orange Juice okay?" he asks, putting his head around the door. "Yeah please, it's my favourite" I say. Poppy shut up, he couldn't care less if it was your favourite or not. "Really? Mine too!" Calum chuckles, grabbing two glasses out the cupboard and filling them up before handing one over to me and I thank him. "You coming?" he asks, picking up his guitar case off the floor and pointing towards a door, which I guess was his bedroom. I gave him a small nod before he walks ahead and I follow behind him. Oh how things were about to get interesting, it was either going to go really well, or really bad and I think we all know the answer to that one.
