I walked up the science corridor by myself, my earphones in my ears and not paying attention as to what was going on around me. I was own my own as Luke hadn't bothered to wait behind for me after lesson, I didn't let it bother me though. I looked on the bright side and that was being able to spend more time listening to All Time Low without being interupted.

When I walked into class I was surprised to see Calum already sat at his desk but then I was even more surprised when I noticed he was the only student sat in class. Maybe he was serious about all the 'I'm going to change' business.

Nothing much more had really happened between Calum and I since our talk a week or so ago. We'd make some sort of small talk if we bumped into one another, normally that would be him asking me if I'm okay and blah blah blah, so like I'd said nothing interesting.

When I walked passed him I flicked him on the ear and he looked up as if he were ready to punch who ever had just flicked him but when he saw me looking down at him his face softened and he smiled. "You okay?" he asks when I pull out my earphones, nodding as I put my earphones into my jeans pocket. "I think the question is are you okay? You're not just on time you're actually early for class" I wink and he laughs. "No, I just turn up early to the classes I have with you, it's my way to impress you" he smirks and I start laughing, whacking him on the arm playfully. "And just when I though you were different" I say dramatically which makes Calum laugh even harder. "Ruined it now Calum" I wink and he smirks at me before I go over and take my seat.

With-in the next few minutes the whole class had arrived and the lesson got started, I spent most of the time our teacher was talking staring at the back of Luke's head, not really paying any attention what so ever. "So I have a couple of practicals for you all to do, so if you could get into your groups of three then we can make a start" our teachers says and everyone starting mumbling to their friends as they decided what groups they'd be working in.

Now normally Luke get up straight away and come sit with Michael and I but nope not today. He walked got up and walked straight past us both and sat down at the table with Dani and her friend Rachel. I turned around and looked at Michael who looked just as confused as I did and had a small frown on his face. I knew Michael was thinking the exact same thing as me so I just shrugged my shoulders at him. "Luke..?" Michael says, turning around in his chair and Luke looks up. "What? I know you're going to ask why I'm not working with you two, truth is I work better with these two than you two?" Luke says and I turn to loom at Michael who burst out laughing when I looked at him which then made me laugh. "Okay then Luke, Calum? You want to work with Michael and I?" I chuckle, looking over at Calum who was sat a couple seats over and he smirked at me. I knew Michael might not be took happy with this but if Luke wants to act like this then two can play that game. "Whoa no Poppy?" Luke says and I shrug my shoulders at him. "What's the problem Luke? Don't like the fact Poppy's working with Calum, We actually work better with him then we do with you" Michael teases and I'm a little shocked that Michael was supporting the fact I was getting Calum to work with us, I know how much Michael hates Calum. "Why do you want to work with Calum Poppy? Is it because you have a crush on him?" Dani smirks and I give her a dirty look. "You're one to talk Dani, you've spent more time with MY boyfriend in the past couple of weeks than I have? Who's the one with the 'secret' crush now?" I chuckle and by now the whole class had turn to look at our group at the back of the class.

Calum's POV:

By the time everyone had turned to look at Poppy's group at the back my hands were shaking at my sides. I was doing everything in my power not to get up and punch both Luke and that Daniella girl. Now if I hadn't had made that deal about not hurting Luke with Poppy then by now I would have probably punched Luke several times. That all comes back round to this stupid bet, well I guess in a way it's not stupid because it gave me a reason to talk to Poppy without her getting angry at me before I'd even said anything to her. I just hope Poppy will noticed how hard I'm trying not to stand up and give both of them the punch they deserve. "You're one to be talking about keeping secrets, we know about the secret you've been keeping from the whole school" Luke smirks and I raise an eyebrow. I honestly had no idea what Luke was on about but by looking at Poppy and Michael it must have been something pretty bad before Poppy looked uneasy and panicky about whatever Luke was on about. "Luke seriously stop before you say something stupid, you'll regret it" Michael warns and Luke started laughing. "What's that Poppy? You don't want me telling everyone about how you're parents couldn't care less about you so they sent you over here to Australia so they wouldn't have to see you?" Luke chuckled and the whole class went silent.
