He held his arms out and I let them embrace me into a hug. I squeezed him in my small arms, pressing my lips to his neck. "I'll see you when I get back, okay?" He said as he pulled away.
"Okay.." was all I could manage to squeak out. He turned as his grandpa asked him for something, so I just stood and watched him walk up the porch steps and into his house, knowing that this weekend would suck without seeing him.
Sighing to myself, I got back into my car and started the engine. I backed out of the driveway slowly, thoughts of him leaving crossing every inch of my mind.
With a heavy heart I drove away, unaware that this may have been the last time I see him.
