I recently found out about the song First Burn! I honestly think it is better than the stage performed version.
This scene is from Tigerclaw's Fury during the fire, and he sees Goldenflower. It does not say anything about her noticing him, but I like to think she saw him out of the corner of her eye but thought her mind was playing tricks on her. This brought back bad memories, and that's why she looks angry in this scene.

WE NEEDED MORE GOLDENFLOWER INTERACTION IN THIS BOOK
In my design, Goldenflower just picked whatever flowers were golden as a kit. When she got older, she started picking flowers that matched her mood. When she became mates with Tigerclaw, he gave her tiger lilies. (I'm surprised he didn't give her a narcissus) When it was found out that Tigerclaw was a traitor, she switched it for a yellow carnation, which meant rejection, disapproval, and disdain. In Starclan she wears a lily of the valley, which means returning happiness.
