Tuesday Part 3 chapter 4
His face is so close to mine, his lips barely a breath away from my own, when the cantarella he'd apparently...kissed... off my lips finally took effect. His face falls forward, but no kiss happens. Instead, his cheek falls onto my face, and I'm left frozen for a while, before pushing him off of me. I'm glad I was smart enough to put some poison on my lips, but for it to actually have been used... that was very unexpected. Especially when it was on such a Junior. Ugh, what is with higher-ups trying to kiss me nowadays? Even if it was just because of the fumes for this dummy, why?
I push the guy off of me easily and hold my breath right away. There's probably still some fumes left and after what they made me do, there's no way I'm going to let that plasma stay here any longer. If I do, well I'll just leave that to the imagination. Stupid Junior had to break it when it was the only thing we had to keep track of the outside world! (And by outside world, I mean what happens outside of the Bureau/School.)
I walk over to where the plasma had previously been standing perfectly straight and find a mess of wires and broken chips, with smoke puffing out dangerously from some broken part of the plasma's screen. That does not look good at all. Frowning now, I stepped over some stray wires and began to pick up what I could, breath still held in. God, this is going to take forever.
For about twenty minutes straight, all I did was go back and forth, carrying pieces of the plasma to the farther reaches of the underground haven where the fumes wouldn't get to us. I need to see the map later, since it seems there's no real way out. I let out a sigh when I finally finish and just rest beside the bed. The agent from before snores loudly from beside me, which pretty much keeps ME from sleeping. Douche.
"Where the hell am I?" I hear a sleepy voice say from above. Well, looks like sleeping beauty has finally awoken! Rolling my eyes, I sit up and stare right at the guy. He jumps up in the air, obviously surprised by me. "A giant shrimp!" Oh god, does he STILL have fumes in his system?
"I am NOT a... giant shrimp... Are you feeling ok?" I sit on the bed and lean forward to check his temperature, only to be flipped over and once again under him. His eyes look childish and dangerous as he smirks down at me. I think I should be scared now.
He leans forward and nibbles lightly on my ear lobe. I gasp, and try to push him back, but him being the giant he is compared to me, I was unable to. Fear rushes through me as I think about what he's going to do to me. I bite back the urge to kick the sh*t out of him and close my eyes. Knock out already... knock out, damn it! "I'm really... hungry..." he whispers into my ear, almost lazily, before suddenly biting my ear AGAIN. I shriek, which causes him to back away a bit.
God, he looks like he's DRUNK! Not even I was that affected, and I had to carry the darn stuff away from us. But then again, I'm resistant to poison, so I think I should be good with a plasma TV's fumes. But that doesn't explain why I was kind of out of it in the beginning... Sighing, I try to push him off of me, or at least push him AWAY from me, but still nothing works. Damn... "Look, you damn ape, get OFF of me NOW before I hit you where the sun don't shine!" I punch at his chest, only to be laughed at in response and the squished under him.
"You think... I'm an ape?" he asks me, laughing at the same time. Ugh, why does this have to happen to me? Of all the agents and students at the school, why do I have to be forcibly paired up with an ape who thinks being called an ape is funny. I'm not trying to be funny! I'm trying to be MEAN. "Where does the sun not shine?" he asks me, just as goofily. Heh, that's a good question. I raise my leg up high between his legs in answer, and the look of amusement on his face just banishes, replaced with pain as he rolls off of me. FINALLY.
"Stupid ape," I grumble. Rolling off the bed, I walk back over to the big bounce thing that we had landed on earlier and search for my back pack. I'd left it somewhere near here, and yet why can't I find it now? If I don't find it soon, I may be trapped here forever with Mr. Looney Bin back on the bed who is starting to scare me. The fumes should be out of his system by now, so why the heck is he still messed up?
