Monday Chapter 2

"Cantarella Noir, please go to the office. The Headmaster wants to see you." Of course he does, I thought venomously as I stood up from my desk and gathered all my things. "Without your things." Oh. I set them all back down and the walked down the length of the room swiftly and gracefully, just a show of the "power" I had in the school. No one really needed reminders, but I did it anyway. The move earned me a few snickers from behind.

Julia, one of the people from Jake's group of 'friends' sat a few seats behind mine, already talking to her 'friends' about what I was probably being called in for. She wasn't paying any attention to the fact that her voice was too loud and that I could hear her perfectly clear. That bitch. "She's probably being called in for fucking a guy in one of her missions," one girl sneers.

"I bet you that's exactly it. The silent ones are always the ones to-"

"Surprise you?" I ask, standing right in front of her desk. Julia's head whips around to face me, startled by my sudden appearance. Her eyes are filled with terror before morphing into a smirk. She purposely stands up to make a scene of the whole thing, and the class- including our teacher- turns to face us. They don't do anything to stop the fight. No one ever does at this school, because fights are what fuel our power. Fighting is the essential thing we learn at this school.

"And if you did?" she laughs, flipping her hair in the air in a way that makes her look like she's full of confidence, but I can tell from the way her hands are moving she's scared. There's a small tremor in her, and she's full adrenaline, simply from the excitement of fighting me. Well, sorry, but you aren't going to enjoy this at all. "You're nothing compared to me, so I suggest-"

I grab a hold of her wrist that is so stupidly hovering before my face and twist it around, before slamming her body down onto a nearby desk. She cries out in anger as she struggles against my hold, and the previous owner of the desk jumps back and out of the way. Julia jerks her head up in an attempt to hit me, but I'd already calculated the possibility of her doing that move and now smashed her face right into the wood of another desk.

She screams again in pain, and I, deciding to be a bit more merciful, take a small bit of cantarella from the secret compartment in my necklace and shove it into her mouth. She struggles more as the poison makes it's way into her body and takes control. A few seconds pass by in silence, where the only sounds are Julia and her muffled screams as I hold her down. A second more and there's only silence.

I let go of Julia, and her body just simply collapses to the floor. No one runs to aid her and no one tries to fight me as I walk through the room again and out the door. That's just how worthless her life is. I smile for once as I make my way through the colorless halls of the school. I'm not the only person that doesn't have any real friends.

Stopping at the Office, I take a deep breath and compose myself to be like an emotionless doll. Time to get whatever punishment I deserve for not going to that one mission on Saturday. I sigh, before opening the doors wide and walking in. What I expected to see was my father holding some sort of whip or stick to punish me. What I didn't expect was that Senior from before.

He's sitting in one of those large recliner chairs, spinning around while reading a book, with head phone's in his ears. Is this guy for real?! The first rule in this school is to never leave your guard down, and he's doing just that! And he seriously expects me to think that he is a Senior?! I take one step back, ready to run the instant the door closed behind me but the moment my hand makes contact with the brass knob of the door, the Senior stops spinning, stops reading and takes out his head phones just to look straight at me. He smiles evilly.

"Finally you made it!" Before I could even try anything on him- such as running away, poisoning him with another kiss (I'd rather not!), punching him in the gut, kicking him where the sun don't shine, etc- he runs up and just pulls me into this huge hug. I am left staring wide eyed at the wall as he hold me so closely. What is with this guy! Only Jake can hold me this closely against him, and even then it takes a very good reason- like Joey's dying self- for him to do so!
