Chapter 5
Amy and Blair came over right on time. Blair did my hair while Amy picked out my outfit.
"I can't believe that Evan finally asked you on a date," Blair giggled as she curled my hair.
I rolled my eyes, "It shouldn't have taken him so long."
Amy suddenly popped out of my walk-in closet holding a black skirt and loose, pink tank top. She grabbed a long, silver, heart necklace out of my jewelry box and then got my black pumps from my shoe closet.
Amy held the outfit up to me and asked, "How cute is this?"
I smiled and clapped, "It's perf! I love it. Good job, Amy."
"Thanks," Amy smiled proudly.
After Blair finished my hair, Amy did my makeup then I changed into my outfit. I got ready just in time.
As I was putting on my necklace, Susannah called up to me, "Miss Sienna, Evan is here!"
"Thank you, Susannah! I'll be down shortly!" I shouted to her.
I sat on my bed and slid on my black pumps then grabbed my black purse and threw my phone nd a wad of cash in it.
I spun in a circle in front of the girls, "So? What do you think?"
"You look beautiful, Sien," Blair smiled.
"Yeah. Gorgeous," Amy agreed with a nod of her head.
I smirked, "Good."
I carefully descended the staircase, careful not to slip and fall in my heels. If I fell in front of Evan, I would be mortified and could never show my face again.
"Hey, Evan. You look dashing," I grinned.
Evan smirked, "Thanks. And you look absolutely gorgeous."
I smiled as he held the front door open for me then did the same with the car door.
When we got to the movie theater, Evan took my hand in his and asked, "What movie would you like to see?"
I honestly was dying to see Captain America, but that would probably be way too geeky and something that people wouldn't expect me to want to watch. So I went with the girly, chick flick movie even though I really didn't want to.
"I would love to see The Fault In Our Stars," I lied.
He chuckled, "I figured you would."
"But, um... You know, if you wanted to see Captain America or Divergent or something like that then we could do that instead," I suggested, really hoping he'd say yes.
He smiled and shook his head, "That's nice of you, but like I said before, we're here to see what you want to see."
I faked a smile, "You're such a gentleman."
He smirked then pressed a kiss on the top of my head.
"Two tickets for The Fault In Our Stars please," Evan said to the worker at the ticket booth.
Evan was about to hand the worker the money, but I grabbed his hand to stop him, "I can pay for my ticket."
He chuckled like a was amusing him, "Look, Sienna, I know that you're a strong woman who can handle herself and all, but I'm going to be a gentleman and pay for you."
I blew out a puff of air and crossed my arms, "Fine."
Then I kissed his cheek and smiled, "Thank you, Evan."
