Groceries - Hyunjin

A bit cliché but I'm proud. Lol.

"Y/N, will you do the groceries, please?" Your mom said.

"Sure sure, what should I buy then?" You asked, sighing.

"Uhh here, I made a list earlier." She handed you the list that is written on a paper.

"Money?"

"Oh, yeah yeah, here." She gave you the purse. "Bye sweetie! Be safe!"

You just nodded as a response and walked out to the grocery store, it's not that far from your houses tho but you still feel too lazy.

Your mom have some visitors so she needs to cook something pleasing for them and you have to do the groceries while she cleans the house first.

As you got there, you took out a cart and started strolling around, looking for the things that is written on the list your mom gave.

"Okay, potatoes check, rice cakes, meat? What should I choose over this two?" You asked yourself, holding two kinds of meat that looks so similar to each other so you hesitated what to pick ending up choosing the other one.

"What kind of dish would she cook? Why does she needs this?" You furrowed your eyebrows as you read the next one.

"Okay, I know this one, I saw it earlier." You then walked back from where you remember you saw it.

"Oh darn it, how the hell should I even reach that thing? It's too high!" You whisper-shouted at yourself.

Tiptoed, you tried reaching it but you're just too small. You hissed in annoyance and looked for someone to help you, but there's no one.

"Never mind." You shook your head but before you could walk away the area, someone called you.

"Hey miss, having trouble to reach that?" He asked, pointing to it.

"Well, yeah." You answered awkwardly with a chuckle. "Can you help me with it?"

"Sure, that's why I'm here. I saw you earlier, you're so cute." He then handed it to you.

"T-thanks. And, how did you found me cute? I mean, never mind." You giggled and grabbed onto your cart.

"Well then, see you around...?" He said.

"Y-N" You said, smiling.

"I'm Hyunjin" He then smiled back and waved as you walks away, waving your hand too.

He's so handsome, oh gosh! You thought. You were all done when you passed to your favorite corner which is oreos where and took some.

"₩113,000" Said the counter. You gave the exact money and took the bags where she put the things you brought but before you could walk out, someone called you by your name.

"Y/N!" You turn around to see him again. "Wait for me, I'll just pay for this." He said referring to the two ice cream he was holding.

"S-sure." You then stood right behind him.

"I'll help you with those." Him after he paid for his ice cream.

"No it's okay, why did you called me by the way?" You asked and started to walk while he follows behind.

"I just want to help you, that's too much for a girl like you so I thought you needed help." He said and opened the store's door for you.

"Thanks, I'm really okay, you can go now." You said and waited for him to move away but he just shook his head.

"I still want to help and walk you home." He then took two of the bags you were holding leaving only one for you.

"Want some?" He handed you one of his ice cream.

"Sure, thanks."

The whole walk was just awkwardly awkward until you reach home.

"Oh so this is your house?" He asked, surprised.

"Yeah, what's wrong?" You then opened the gates.

"It's just as nice as you. Here's your groceries cutie Y/N." He handed you the both bags with a wide smile crept on his face.

"Thanks again Hyunjin, I hope to see you again." It took you seconds before you realized what you just said and when you do, you just bit your lower lip.

"I hope too, bye!" He waved so did you and entered the house with a small smile.

"Here's your groceries mom." You put them on the counters.

"Thanks sweetie! My visitors will come soon, be prepared!" She said excitedly.

"Okay mom, thanks by the way." You made your way to your room.

"Thanks for what?" She asked.

"For letting me buy the groceries."
