Everybody in the new team, went back to the mansion. There was barely enough room for anybody. Sonic let Manic and Sally take his bed. He took the floor, and Amy took the couch. Rouge and Knuckles, kept their room. As did Cream, Shadow and Tails. But they hawks, they let stay in the guest bedroom. Which no one has been in for years.
"Sonic..?" Amy asked. "What is it Ames." "I think it's real sweet of you to let Manic take our room. Even though he has your ex..." She said sternly. Sonic sighed. "Ames, that was in the past. You're my special one now. No one can change that." That made Sonic blush. "Where did she even come from?" She asked in a time of voice like she wanted an answer right then.
"She's just a girl I used to go on adventures with. " sonic answering back fast. "So what am I then..?" Amy said ticked. "Ames, it's not like that. At all. You're my special one. I already told you that." He said smiling. "Hmmm ooookay." She said sarcastically and put her hand behind Sonic's ear, and scratched. It actually made him purr. That's her favorite part.
"Jet, do you trust these people? You know, that we are with?" Wave asked. He thought for a moment. "Doesn't matter, they trust me. That's all I care." He shot back. "That wasn't my question. Do you trust them?" She said, but only this time she said it unfriendly.
"Well they took us in. None of our other old enemies would have done that for us. They're friends now." Jet said. "I wouldn't even care if they took me in. You're just the one I'm worried about." He said while turning over, facing the other side.
She tried not blushing. But it failed. He could tell and he wasn't even looking.
5:00 P.M
"Did you set the charges?"
"Yes. Here's the detonator." Swift said as he handed Scrouge the device.
"Excellent, you leave first and I'll blow the lair to rubble."
"Understood sir."
"Now go." Scrouge said sternly.
Swift rushed out of there as fast as he could. He has special powers, like Silver. Except his was teleportation and blur speed, and Silver's was psychokinesis.
After he got out, he has Scrouge rush out as well.
"Detonating in three... Two.. One.."
The whole mountain came coming down. As did the lair built on top, and inside of it. It came down in pieces of rock and concrete.
"Now, let's go home." Scrouge said.
"Where exactly is home sir..?"
Scrouge looked at him and grinned.
