Chapter 13- New Team

"So how so you go back into your form..?" Wave asked. "I'll show you." Jet said as he threw at punch at Sonic. Shadow jumped in front and grabbed his hand. "We don't need this right now Jet!" He said. Jet pulled away. They went down the road, with Jet on his board and Wave on hers Ofcourse. "So Sonic, where is your board?" Jet said sarcastically.

"It's somewhere. I need to dust it off." Sonic said rubbing the back of his head. "It's with mine and Sil-" Shadow cut Knuckles but putting his hand on Knuckles' mouth. "Is it something I said?" Jet asked. "Knuckles whispered to him,"No it's-" he got cut off again. "Silver." Sonic said. "They white hedgehog with the powers?" Wave asked. Sonic looked back at her holding his tears in.

"Sonic I didnt mean-" "it's fine.." He cut Wave off. "Then why isn't he with you?" That's what brought Sonic's tears out. "He's gone, Wave." Sonic said to her.

When they arrived at the house, they got a very unfriendly greeting. "What is SHE doing here!!" Amy yelled pointing to Wave. "Hey Ames, how's it hangin'?"Wave said with a wink. Amy was about to bolt and tackle her but Rouge and Tails held her back.

"Sonic, why are the hawks here?" Tails said with a serious face. "They tried to kill us!" Amy yelled, struggling to get free. "They did what they had to." Sonic answers back sharply. "Explain please." Tails said. "I had to do what I did to keep Wave out of harms way!" Jet yells back at her. "And I would have done the same thing." Sonic shot back.

Everybody looked at Sonic, shocked to hear him say that. "It's true. It would be hard, but I would do it if it meant keeping Ames safe. All of you safe. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I got one or all of you killed." They all still stared at Sonic but with happiness.

"So do not, give them a hard time about it." He said looking at everyone. 

"So this is everyone huh? Back to nine people?" Amy said cooling down. "No, this won't be enough." Jet said. "Then who left is going to help us??" Wave asked curiously. Sonic looked at her. "I know someone who will." He said nervous.

"Well then who?" Tails said. It took them a minute, but they figured it out. "No, no no no no! We are not getting them!" Amy said upset.

*ding dong* they rang the doorbell. But Sonic didn't know, that his past was opening the door. At the door, was Sally Acorn. Sonic's ex girlfriend. "Sonic the hedgehog.. Who'd w thought id see you here again." She said with a fake grin. She brought her hand up, and slapped it across Sonic face. "You've got some nerve showing up here." She said upset.

"Heya, Sally..." He said with a fake smile, as he rubbed the back of his neck. "We are looking for Manic... Is he here?" Sonic said rubbing his red face mark. She glared at him for a second. "Manic! Someone's here to see you." She yelled into the house.

Came running through the house and towards the door, was Manic, Sonic's brother. "Sonic!" Manic yelled with excitement. They shook hands arm wrestle style and hugged. "Man whatcha doin' here? I though you were living in Mobius still?"    "I am man. Ahh and I see you got with my ex." He said laughing. "Heard that." Sally yelled through the house. "You were meant to!" Sonic yelled back.

Sonic and Manic looked at each other for a second, and laughed hard. "Come on in guys, grab a seat anywhere." Manic said. They all sat around in the living room. "So what brings you here bro? Need something?" Manic asked. "Actually yes, Mobius has been overrun by a new tyrant. After they took over our city, they're coming for yours next. We need your help to stop him." Sonic said sternly.

"Oh. Bro I don't know, I got a girl, a new house just everything. I don't now about losing it all." Manic said. "Why don't you get Sonia?" He asked. "I think she'll have a better chance saying yes with both of us asking her." Sonic said scared.

"Why is that?" Amy said. "He's scared of his sister." Knuckles said with a glare. Manic raised his hand up high. "Amen dude." Manic said. "I could take her." Amy said pumped up. "Ames, we want her on our side. Remember?" Sonic said to her.
