Part 2 of Glass Shards
Y/N's POV
I woke up, feeling Dylan jump out of the bed. I hear him throw up and I giggle. After last night, he deserves a major hangover.
"Not funny!" he yells before throwing up again. I sigh as I walk into the bathroom to rub his back. After he finishes, he turns to face me. His lips turned to a frown. I frown too.
"I hurt you..." he says gently as he rubs my bandaged foot. Last night was not his best moment.
"Why were you drunk?" I ask him. He sighs.
"The stress of not making it to Artemis' awards show, being held back on set and missing the game. I still can't believe Peyton won. I called Olivia 'Arty'! I'm just a terrible father," he says, breaking down into tears. I hold him as he rest his face on my shoulder, kissing it.
"It's not your fault, you hear me?"
"I threw a beer bottle and you got a piece of glass stuck in your foot and I didn't do anything! I don't deserve your forgiveness!"
"Too bad, I'm forgiving you anyway!" I say in an annoyed tone. He chuckles. I stand and wince as my foot touches the ground. Dylan bends down and I jump on his back.
"Now how do I apologize to the kids?"
"Make them Nutella pancakes and then we'll swim in the pool. Maybe you can jump in with your clothes on to get a laugh out of them," I suggest. Dylan chuckles. We go to the living room where our 4 children are sitting on the couch. Dylan freezes in place.
"You that scared of them?" I joke.
"Shut up." He puts me down on the chair and stands in the middle of the living room.
"I'll be the representative of team O'Brien juniors," Brandon says. I snicker. Dylan tries to keep a straight face. "We have demands that need to be met in order for us to forgive you Daddy."
"Pancakes with 2 extra spoonfuls of Nutella for the next 2 weeks," Artemis speaks up.
"We get to throw a dozen raw eggs at you," says Olivia.
"You are going to help me find a college with a good basketball scholarship," says Peyton.
"I was suppose to talk guys!" Brandon whines. I chuckle at my little boy. Dylan nods to every request.
"I get to play for you since you didn't go to the awards show," Artemis says.
"I want a new toy!" Brandon shouts.
"Done, done, done and done!" Dylan says, pointing at each of our kids.
"You have to apologize to mom," Olivia points out.
"He already did," I say.
"I'm sorry guys. Seriously I've been the worst dad ever lately and I'm working too much. But I gotta keep up with all the expenses and toys you all want, like dang! I know that's no excuse so I'll do anything you want to do today and then I'll try harder to be there," he says.
He stands up and sighs before running outside and jumping in the pool. Me and my the kids follow. The kids burst into laughter when Dylan resurfaces and winks.
"Time to begin the humiliation of Dylan O'Brien!" The kids cheer and I almost double over laughing. Dylan lifts his hand for me to help him pull him out. I take and he pulls me in, I yell.
"Dylan!"
"Sorry my love!" he says, winking. The kids cannonball into the pool and we swim around in our clothes for an hour before Dylan accepts his eggy fate.
