~*Chapter 21*~

"Weirdo..." you muttered, watching Hoseok run away like a mad man.

Yoongi cleared his throat, your attention now going to the black haired boy in front of you. "Again, why are you here?" You stuff your hands into your hoodie pockets and tilt your head at the boy. He shrugs in response before saying, "I need a ride." You roll your eyes at him once again and unlock the car. "Get in." you sigh for no reason in particular.

You're not upset Yoongi came over, you don't know why you're acting like that. Instincts? Probably. If Nayeon ships it, you're both dead. Nayeon is sort of famous in school for setting up blind dates, they almost always work out. One time it didn't work was when Hoseok was set up with Jackson Wang. It was hilarious to see the red head running towards your house at night, though. He just went on and on about how bad the date was and that he'd never do it again. The pair haven't spoke since, well, that's all you know. The closest you see them is awkward eye contact.

It's funny.

You get into the drivers seat as Yoongi gets into the passengers. "Music?" He asks, you nod your head and Yoongi takes an aux cord out of his pocket and plugs it into the car and his phone, "What kind of music do you like?" He asks as you start up the car, "Any." You say not paying attention to him, you hear a smug 'okay' from the boy which makes you slightly concerned on what he'll start playing. You shake your head praying to god he doesn't play something completely stupid like that duck song.

"Ah, here it is." He mutters to himself, your eyebrows raise and you look towards him. He has a small smile on his face, his tongue slipping through his teeth. "What?" You're starting to get worried now, what music is he going to play..? You don't mind English songs, K-POP, Latin, anything but if it's some dirty shit you're running the car into a building.

"Yoongi... yes." You smile widely and start singing along, Yoongi being left in a state of shock. "Why do you know the full song?" His eyes are wide as you keep your eyes on the road while driving. "This is my childhood. Tell me you haven't gotten bored before and just looked old shows up." You say it as if it's something everyone does. "Uh..." Yoongi awkwardly looks away, the lights in front of you turn red and you look towards Yoongi in a state of shock. "You've never revisited your childhood?" Your mouth hangs open when the boy shakes his head, a guilty look plastered on his face.

It looks like he's just killed your family's cat... not revisiting your childhood is that bad, wtf?

"Okay, then. You. Me. My house. After school. Childhood videos, episodes, theme songs, all that shit. Okay?" The lights go back to green and Yoongi nods his head. You carry on your drive to school like normal... well.

"Hi, I'm Pablo! My name's Tyrone!I'm Uniqua! I'm Tasha! And my name is Austin!

And we're...

Your backyard friends, the Backyardigans! Together in the backyard again! In the place where we belong! Where we'll prob'ly sing a song! And we'll maybe dance along! We've got the whole wide world in our yard to explore! We always find things we've never seen before... That's why every day we're back for more... with your friends, the Backyardigans!"

You pull up to school with a giant grin on your face. That song is stuck in your head and Yoongi looks a mixture of shocked, weirded out, for some reason, proud, and just plain disappointed.

"You'll regret coming over later."

"No backing out?"

"Nope!"

Although people were staring at you both... you carried on singing with a boy trying to hide his face.

This is going to be a good day.
