You and Yoongi were walking down the small, brick path in the park. It was a very hot day you realised and regret wearing jeans.
"It's really warm, gosh." You said, exhausted.
"Let's get some ice cream, then!" Yoongi ran to the ice cream truck and asked what you wanted. When you told him, you went to sit down in the cool shade under a tree.
You were happy. Happy with everything at the moment. You and Yoongi were together. Finally. *after 30 chapters of my bad writing.* The only thing is that you haven't kissed yet but that didn't bother you, you didn't want to rush anything.
"I'm back~" Yoongi sang as he came to sit next to you. "Here." He passed the mint choc chip ice cream to you and you both sat in silence, eating your ice creams. It wasn't an uncomfortable silence, it was quite soothing.
The sounds of kids laughing in the playground, birds chirping, the calm summer breeze blowing your hair out of your face and cooling you down, slightly. Nothing could be better.
It got better.
Yoongi's holding your hand now.
And you're both smiling... again.
You rested your head on his shoulder.
"Hey, Yoongi?"
"Hm?"
"I don't say this to anyone but..."
"What?" He looked down at you.
"I love you..." you said with a shy smile.
"I love you, too."
Yoongi took two of his fingers and placed them under your chin, lifting your head up.
You stared at each other for a few moments which felt like forever.
He leaned in but this time...
nobody was there to stop you.
