Chapter 11

Everyone let me have my space outside they knew that eventually I'd be alright.

I'd been sitting outside for an hour talking to lissa through the bond and we'd both cried how could Eric keep something like that from us he'd been a father to me and was lissas now everything we'd been through with him seemed different.

I walked into the house tears streaming down my face and took the keys off the side went outside and got in my car and drove away. I drove for ages ignoring any call I got until eventually I went back home. I walked back into the house and everyone looked at me then maya came running to me and hugged me
"Come on baby time to go home"
I said picking her up and ignoring everyone else. I took her next door to my house.
I gave her dinner a bath and then read a book to her as she fell asleep.
I turned her light off and shut her door.

I walked downstairs and into my kitchen and started cleaning. I cleaned everywhere.
I eventually stopped because of a knock on the door
I walked to it and opened it only just realising I was in a pair of shorts that came to just the top of my thigh and a tight tank top.
Dimitri was outside so I let him in and we went and sat in the living room
"Are you alright" he asked me
"I will be" I said smiling slightly
He pulled me to him and kissed the top of my head and stayed holding me until I eventually fell asleep.

I woke up the next day to people laughing in my living room and I was in bed.
But I got dressed and walked down stairs to find all the belikovs my team my father pavel and my daughter who was sat in between dimitri and my father.
I stood in the doorway for a moment looking at all of them until kalina looked up and saw me and smiled and I went and sat down on the arm of the couch she was sat on.
"She told me" she said
"I gathered I didn't mean to talk to her like that I was just really angry he meant a lot to me as well and it was just a massive shock lissa is trying not to have a melt down and we've promised each other not to do anything until I'm back at the academy"
"I'm sure it will work out eventually"
"Maybe" i said looking around for the first time in a long time none of us were being hunted none of us had to lie and we were happy but of course that was not going to Last.

At that moment there was a knock on the door and dimitri went to answer it there was no speaking so he walked on followed by someone in a mask and knew who it was
"Vika can you take maya and the rest of the kids back to mama's please"
She looked confused for a moment then did I asked
I watched as they walked into Olenas house then I lost it
"Take that stupid mask off right now" I growled
He did and ana, Toby, Jason and Kalina gasped
I however looked like i was about to snap
Art and celeste looked at me to make sure I was alright I nodded.
"Hey" he said directly at me
"Hey" I questioned
"Three years and all I get is hey are you fucking kidding me Chris"
"Well I don't really know what to say rose"
"How about starting with where the hell you've been why the hell you left and why your back now"
"I've been in Turkey, I left because I couldn't be their knowing what you were about to do for us i had to find a way to help but I got captured by jax and I'm back now because we're family Rosie"
"Family, family doesn't leave their own for years on end and they don't let one another think there dead. Blake did that and I've only just forgiven him. They've only just forgiven me for telling them that ana was dead but you Chris I don't think I can forgive you"
He looked at me and realised that most of the people in this room didn't know the truth
"They don't know that their were once twenty of us do they and is that" he looked to dimitri
"Chris don't you dare"
"Why keep that from him"
"Because it wasn't just him that grieved and blamed himself for his death he was out that day looking for me again because I disappeared again" I shouted at him
"It wasn't your fault" came a voice from behind of Chris dimitri saw him first and hugged him and they talked in Russian but I stood with my back to the door looking at Jason
"Turn around" he said
"No"
"Why" I heard him move closer
"Because I can't loose you again"
"Come on little sis turn around"
"I'm not your little sister"
"Maybe not in blood but we're all family rose were all your team. Moroi and dhampir. We are family now turn around"
I did and he smiled but I had tears running down my face
"Why" I asked
"I had to it wasn't safe, I was being hunted long before the whole team was if they thought I was dead I thought you'd be safe"
"Well we weren't"
"I know, I know everyone we've lost and I know you have maya but I'd like to get to know my daughter"
I smiled
"Don't ever do that to me again"
"Never" he said smiling and shaking his head I ran to him and jumped so my legs wrapped Round his waist and I hugged him like my life depended on it.
I eventually got down and dimitri grabbed my arm and I knew we'd talk about this later but he kissed me.
"Ivan you ever pretend to be dead again I'm gonna kill understand" I asked in a sickly sweet tone
He nodded and then looked at me and dimitri and it looked liked I was in for a whole lot of explaining.
