Chapter 2

You all sat on the couch,Peridot sitting between you and Lapis playing a new file of majora's mask, and just talked. Well, more like Peridot talked and you two gave small responses. You soon stood up while yawning and went over to your book bag you sat next to the couch and then your keys off the counter. You then put your book bag on.

"What are you doing, Y/N?" You heard the voice of your short friend ask, you glanced back and smiled a little,

"I'm heading to the store, luckily its just a 10 minute drive," You said as you started to leave, you then paused and glanced over your shoulder at the two, "D...Do you two need anything? Do you want me to grab something specific to eat or-"

"CAN YOU SEE IF THEY HAVE SEASON 3 OF CAMP PINING HEART?!?!" Peridot was still focused on her game, yet Still excitedly responded.

"I'll see. Um..Lapis?"

The blue haired girl slowly glanced at you with a dead look. You shivered but waited for a response. Lapis soon stood up and sighed, "I'm going with them. Don't break anything, Peri." She said softly, Peridot hummed in response. Lapis's lips tilted upwards a little as she ruffled the blondes hair.

As soon as she looked back at you that dead look returned as she followed you out. After locking the door, you both walked down flights of stairs,to your car, then you both were on your way. You both were silent as you drove. You honestly weren't sure what to say, this girl obviously didn't like you. After a little a question popped up.

"Why do you-..." You hesitated, you tapped on the steering wheel anxious.

"What?"

You jumped slightly and glanced at her, she was staring at you daring you to say something wrong. You directed your attention back to the road as you finally mumbled your question,

"Why do you hate me? I mean, I JUST met you, and you already despise me."

You parked the car in the small parking lot and kept your gaze anywhere but toward lapis. You then heard a snarl, you winced when she spoke.

"You don't..."

"What...?"

She kept her calm and dead gaze on me, I could feel it stabbing into the back of my head. She then got out slamming the door, she walked towards the store without looking back. You squinted your eyes as you got out your car shutting the door. You were even more confused.ytt

"Is....is she on her period?" you muttered to yourself as you made your way into the store.

Lapis had to open the door for you because she made you carry all the groceries. You would have argued,complained, or even dropped the food and tell her to carry it, but you could never punish food because of her stubbornness. You walked in and sat everything down on the counter before you started putting everything away. Once you finished you smiled about to speak until you looked at a bag you missed, you looked in to see a bag of gummy worms and Season 3 of CPH, You quickly shut the bag out of shame. This bag was Lapis's, and she had actually remembered Peridot's request.

You felt lousy. What a great friend you were, you couldn't even remember the small box. You glanced towards the two friends on the couch. Lapis was smiling lightly as she watched and spoke to Peridot, while Peridot Continued with her game and laughed at what lapis said. You envied the two, wishing it was like that with all three of you, you were even jealous at the blue haired girl for being a better friend.

You soon quietly walked over to lapis side and and gently sat the bag on her lap. She looked up at you with a raised eyebrow, you just shrugged and head towards the door. They didn't ask where you were going, which you were fine with to be honest. You shut the door quietly and locked it, you began your way out the dorm building and began to take a walk. You found new places, a Starbucks, Library, you even found the dining area.
