"Why is your arm bandaged?"

You didn't know how to responded. You curse yourself for slipping up and allowing him to see the bandaged. You debated what to say, how do you tell your little brother you cut yourself. You looked at the boy who was giving a worried look, you can't worry him, you just can't. You smiled sheepishly at the boy and shoved your hands into your hoodie pockets,

"I was looking for another Game to play and I found these bandages and I wrapped the around my arms, and I thought they looked...cool!" You said with your best and brightest fake smile.

Steven gave a small suspicious look, which made you worry, until he grinned,

"Do you have any more?!"

You looked a little confused and shocked for a second before Steven went on,

"We could be super hero's! We could use them like EraserHead!"

"Who....?"

You muttered before you just let it go and smiled at Steven,

"Yeah I think I do, when we get back we'll wrap you up."

Steven cheered and quickly grabbed his cheeseburger backpack and MC Bear-Bear, smiling brightly.  When he was done, you went over and picked him up, In which he climbed onto your neck.  You couldn't help remember doing this all the time with the boy when he was younger, just so he could see the world and everything perfectly. Which was perfect at the time when you were baby sitting him and could keep an eye on him.

You go around and turn off all the lights in the house, then you head out.  You stepped down the stairs slowly, soaking in the glistening ocean and crashing sounds of its waves. When you reached the bottoms of the stairs, you stared at the ocean for a little before you turned away and slowly walked your way to your car, which was parked behind Fish-Stew Pizza. You winced everytime your arms brushed against Steven pant legs, but none the less you pushed on.

As soon as you reached your car, you helped Steven off of you and unlocked your door, then you guys were on your way back, which made you groan seen as it was a Forty-Five minute drive from Beach City but at least you could clear your mind a little.

You had just pulled into the dorm gate, you look at the guard and see a face you kinda wish you didn't.

"ID runt."

You grunt a little and  pull out your  wallet, then your Student ID. You handed her the card to the guard reluctantly. It was a moment before she talked again.

"Hello again...L/n"

You look back up at The guard, a blank stare and face,

"Jasper."

You said through clenched teeth. She hasn't changed one bit, her hair was still dyed white and it was still very long, you felt your chest tighten with anger. You look up at the gem and huffed,

"Listen, it close to midnight, I have to get back to my dorm, so can I have my ID ba-"

"Shut up."

You shut your month, with how calmly yet aggressively she responded, made you shriek a little. You glanced at Steven who looked scared, after what he has had to deal with because of the Taller women, you are too. You tried to hide Steven behind you as best you could with out being noticed.
