*A/N* I'm so sorry, but there are a few triggering words and phrases in this chapter. I will put some sort of warning before it starts and after it ends. Enjoy.
I board the train with Draco attached to my arm and I glance at the ground self consciously as students turn to stare at us.
"What's wrong, love?" Draco whispers, tugging on my hair gently. "Everyone's staring." I mumble, batting his hand away. "They're just jealous that I'm with you." he smirks, glaring at anyone who gives us dirty looks.
I roll my eyes and duck into an empty compartment, falling onto the seat with an ungraceful flop. "Classy Harry. Real classy." Draco snorts, raising an eyebrow at me. I shrug and wink at him, turning to look out the window of the moving train.
I hear Draco growl softly, but I choose to ignore it. That is, until I'm shoved behind him.
~•~•~Warning and apologies~•~•~
My eyes widen in surprise and fear when I hear a really pissed off Ginny Weasley cussing out my mate and me. "You stupid faggots! I hope you're killed by the DADA teacher this year. Both if you! I'm sorry Voldemort didn't kill you when he had the chance, Potter. And I'm sorry that you weren't thrown in Azkaban by the Ministry. That's where you belong, you filthy Death Eater."
~•~•~It's over. Again, sorry.~•~•~
When she finishes, I'm blinking back tears and holding Draco back by the wings. "GINEVRA WEASLEY! HOW DARE YOU! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO SPEAK TO HARRY OR DRACO IN THAT WAY! GET OUT OF HERE BEFORE I MAKE HARRY LET DRACO GO SO HE CAN TEAR YOU TO SHREDS." Hermione screams, brandishing her wand at the youngest Weasley.
Ginny sneers, but her look falters when Ron steps behind Hermione and points his wand at her. "You heard Hermione. Leave, before Draco makes you leave." he snarls, his eyes flashing with an angry light.
Ginny takes off running and Draco slouches for a second before spinning around to take me into his arms. "Are you okay, my Raven?" he murmurs, stroking my cheek, flashing Hermione and Ron a brief grateful look. I nod silently and chew on my lip to keep myself from sobbing.
"I'm gonna kill her when we get to school." Ron growls, sitting down with an angry huff. "That's my job. He's my mate. I'm gonna kill that bitch." Draco spits, his grey eyes flashing a dangerous silver, the color of liquid mercury.
"It's fine. I really should have expected it." I tell them, laughing bitterly. "Expected it? No, you shouldn't have had to expect it. They were your family. They shouldn't have acted that way." Draco barks. I flinch back, and Draco narrows his eyes at me in concern. I give him a shaky smile and mutter, "Don't worry about it. I'm just kinda jumpy." Draco nods and pulls me into his lap, nuzzling his face into the crook of my neck.
"We're here." Hermione warns us, standing cautiously. We all nod and follow her out of the compartment. "Here we go." I whisper and the others nod in silent agreement.
