*A/N* Hey y'all. This chapter is dedicated to Little_Miss_Uchiha for answering my question in the previous chapter correctly. Enjoy!
This is my first class as a Slytherin, and it's Potions with the Gryffindors. As Draco and I head down to the classroom, I resist the urge to whack my head off of the stone wall repeatedly.
"This is going to be so awkward." I groan under my breath. "You'll be fine, love. Relax." Draco murmurs soothingly, grabbing my hand in his.
"You know what I just realized?" he asks suddenly, opening the door to the classroom. "Hn?" I reply. "We need to go to Gringotts and get an inheritance test. We should probably do that this weekend." I nod and we walk over to our work station.
"Well look what we have here. A house traitor and a Death Eater. Perfect mach." A poisonous voice hisses behind us.
Draco and I spin around to see Seamus Finnigan standing there with his arms crossed and a sneer on his face.
"Shut up, Finnigan." Blaise growls, pointing his wand at Seamus. I look over at Draco and see his hands are clenched into fists and his grey eyes are shining with anger.
Just as I'm about to say something, Professor Slughorn walks in and takes in the scene. "Mr. Finnigan. 20 points from Gryffindor for harassing other students and a week of detention. Mr. Malfoy, please calm down. We don't need an angry dominant Veela storming around the school grounds." he sighs, walking to the front of the class.
"Today we will be making Amortentia. Can anyone tell me its properties?" Several hands go up, and Draco's was the first. "Mr. Malfoy?" "It causes the drinker to become infatuated with the giver of the potion." "Good. Now gather your ingredients and get started."
"Harry? Can you please get the Ashwinder eggs, Rose thorns, Peppermint, Powdered Moonstone, and Pearl Dust?" Draco asks, already heating the cauldron. "Yeah, sure. Be right back." I tell him, walking to the ingredient cupboard.
I gather what Draco told me and head back to our station. "Thank you, love." he says, smiling at me. I smile back and wait for Draco to tell me what to do, because let's face it, I'm rubbish at Potions.
My mind wanders back to what Seamus said and I frown. "Why are you frowning, Harry? What's wrong? Who do I need to hex?" Draco asks, glaring around the room.
"It's nothing, Dragon. Just thinking." I tell him as the words 'house traitor' flood my mind. I place a hand on his arm and smile warmly. Sighing, Draco nods and goes back to our potion. It's almost done.
"Can you stir this counter clockwise five times and clockwise six times? I need to talk to Granger and Weasley." Draco questions, handing me the stirring utensil. "Uh, sure." I say, slightly dumbfounded at his abrupt question. "Thanks." I nod and do as I was told.
A few minutes after I get done stirring, Draco comes back with a grim look on his face. "What's up?" I ask, furrowing my brows. "We'll talk after dinner, Raven. I see you're done stirring. Thank you." he replies, finishing the potion.
"No problem." I say, my mind racing with possible reasons for him to look so serious. 'I guess I'll find out after dinner.' I think, mentally shrugging.
*A/N* I realize that Amortentia was banned from the Hogwarts curriculum, but I needed a potion for them to do. Ciao!
