I know, I watched the Netflix original and I was like, 'Oh. Good scenario right there, Imma use it.'

So, in this show, there were rules with your best friend for life. Some rules would be:

- you always have to forgive your best friend when they buy you ice cream, no matter how upset you are. (This will come into play later)

- you can never have any attraction to your best friend's enemy.

- always be happy for your best friend's successes.

Also, the main character falls for her best friend's older brother. In the case of this scenario, I'll switch it to the best friend's enemy. But it's not exactly like that.

Heads up, you have to change the pronouns. For those who don't like men, I gave them the option to change up pronouns!

[bf] - your best friend

[bfe] - your best friend's enemy

[yn] - your name

You and [bf] were basically best friends since birth. You grew up together on a beach, with a pier, and a whole boardwalk including an arcade, which you played with them since you were under the age of seven years old! Your mothers were best friends long before you and your own [bf] had even been born, and ever since you could remember, you two have been inseparable. Over the years, you have been through so much together, like [bf] getting their dream car or when your mom had died in the hospital from sickness. (No cutting or whatever here.) Another thing was that you have realized that you had a crush on your [bfe] when you turned sixteen as well, but you tried to get over it since it was a rule you had established.

Now, you spend most of your days at [bf] house, hanging out by the pool or going down to the arcade. Once high school starts again, people are chosen for this charity booth for an upcoming festival on the boardwalk. As the title states, you two come up with a plan for the kissing booth and go to student council to confirm what you are doing.

Your kissing booth had these two podium thingies and sleep masks on both of them. One would stand at this podium thing and put the blindfold on and would wait to be kissed.

By the night of the festival, it's not so popular at the very beginning, but after a short while, kids start flowing in. The people had volunteered when they heard that your [bfe] was going to be there, so business started to pick up. Sadly, you begged them desperately earlier that night, but they declined. So, you put up your best friend's name instead. People began to leave the line before a person said, "I guess it's my turn." They were pretty good looking and after they had kissed [bf] had lifted the blindfold and marveled at the sight of the person in front of them. "I hope you like what you see." They said, right before your [bf] leaned back in and they resumed their kiss.

Later on, you found out you would be running the booth alone since [bf] and this person just started dating. So, you ran into trouble later on when the popular girls didn't see your [bfe] and wanted to get revenge on you since you had promised them they would be there. They send you out with a blindfold over your eyes and you nearly trip until you were caught by someone. They help you to the other side of the podium, smiling a little as you rambled on about how you had never had your first kiss. While in the middle of your rushed talking, they cut you off by leaning in and closing the gap between your lips. You just couldn't describe it, but all you knew was that sparks were flying. After a moment that seems like forever, you both pulled away and you slowly remove your blindfold. When you had seen who was there, everyone who had been waiting in line was clapping. It was [bfe] standing before you. You kept telling yourself, "This did not just happen!" In response, they only said, "Relax, it was just a kiss." But was it really?
