I don't know how some people schools work, but some have separate buildings, so high school or college will do for this.
On the way to your class, you always pass [crush/SO]. After a few days that it snowed, you're doing your daily routine and you see them. You smile at them before you suddenly find yourself slipping on an ice patch.
You can
One, fall or have them catch you.
Two, fall into a snow bank and have them help you out.
Three, you can make it up.
