Enoch followed me up the stairs so we could talk privately.
I sat on his bed and he pulled up a chair across from me, our knees touching.

"Enoch, I have a family to go back to. I want to stay here with you-" I reached up and cupped his face, "but I can't. they're kind of important to me. my brother is at least."
I sighed looking up at him, he looked heart broken and I felt horrible.
"You don't have to leave, you can stay longer can't you?" he grabbed my hand from his cheek and placed it into his.

I was avoiding his lingering eyes as he searched my face for a sign, "I-I maybe.." his eyes flickered with excitement and he quickly wrapped his arms around me.

"Okay, amazing." he whispered,
"for a few days." I smiled into his shoulder.

he let go and was smiling like an idiot, i giggled

he cupped my cheeks,

Ben burst in through the door yelling, "Alfie and Hugh are fist fighting in the yard again." Ben looked genuinely worried and stood at the door frame panting.

Enoch shot up immediately and pushed past Ben, running down the stairs.
i looked over at Ben and he was smirking, "did I interrupt anything?" I scoffed and pushed past him walking down to see what all the commotion was.

When I got downstairs Enoch was fuming as he ran towards the boys, Hugh and Alfie were throwing punches at each other and both were bleeding excessively from their nose or mouth.

Enoch ran straight at them and pushed both of the boys to the ground, knocking the air out of their lungs. Both boys rolled around trying to catch their breath, "are you kidding me?!" Enoch shouted "what the hell is wrong with you both? This is the fourth time this month and it's seriously getting on my fucking nerves. I was right in the middle of starting to make out and you shitheads had to ruin it!"

all the other kids looked over at me as my cheeks burned. Alfie sat up and Hugh was laying on the ground clutching his nose, tears spilling from his eyes.

Enoch looked over at me and he was enraged, it was kind of hot.
he looked back to the boys and grabbed Alfie by the arm tossing him towards the kids. they all helped him up and went inside. I walked over to Hugh and Enoch and kneeled beside Hugh.

his nose was gushing blood and I figured it was probably broken. I grabbed his arm and Enoch grabbed his other and we walked inside.

Miss.Mclaggin sighed and grabbed Hugh's arm when we got inside. "We'll take him to the infirmary. We'll be back just before bed." she led him out the front door along with the other kids.

Enoch sighed and went into the kitchen to the stove and put the kettle on.
He rubbed the bridge of his nose, I pulled him by his shirt and smile before pulling his face down towards me and kissing him. Enoch, surprised grabbed onto the counter for support then held onto my waist. pulling me closer and smiling into the kiss.
