"Don't they know how to share a girl?"

Indie laughs and throws her a lopsided grin. Brandon rolls his eyes and pushes the younger girl off the bed.

"Hey!" Autumn yells with a thud from the floor.

She missed those moments. She missed her best friends. But who were her best friends? Was it Brandon, Tyler, Bailey, Christina, and Autumn? Or Corbyn, Jack, Zach, Jonah, Taylor, and Daniel? She couldn't decide. Sure, her college friends have had small bickering s between each other before, but nothing major. As for her "used-to-be-friends-but-sorta-friends-now", she didn't know how to feel. Deep down, she missed the moments she had with them, too. But they hurt her and it wasn't the first.

"Miss Evans, we have arrived."

Indie looks up to see the driver turned around in his seat looking at her. She nods thankfully and slides out onto the sidewalk. Brandon and Autumn were still on the phone as they watch their friend halfway across the continent stare at the building in front of her with surprise.

"That's my house?!"

"We got you a filled fridge and pantry for you so you don't have to go grocery shopping," the ginger explains and leans against the counter. "We'll let you have the rest of the day to yourself, but expect to be in the studio tomorrow, 10:00 am sharp."

She nods and walks over to him, wrapping her arms around his torso and leaning her head on his hard chest. He smiles down at the girl and wraps his own arms around her.

"Thank you so much, Ed," She speaks into his shirt. "I could've never dreamed of doing this again if it weren't for you."

He pats her back and they pull away, grinning at each other like maniacs. He grabs his coat and heads to the door. Opening it, he sends a little wave.

"Studio! 10:00 am!" He calls over his shoulder then exits her house and enters the muggy L.A air, his ginger locks fading away like they were never there.

She sighs and falls back on what she thought was a couch, but ended up being the floor.

"Duck..." She curses under her breath and rubs her tailbone. "Where the hedge is the couch?!"

It was on the other side of the room. It was like even now, she was so used to being at the Why Don't We house. It's been nearly a full year since she last saw them and she still thinks every house is theirs.

••

Indie looks unimpressed by Brad's attempt at the Shoot Challenge dance.

"You look like a chicken trying to fly!" She yells at him as he stops to take a breath. He glares at her.

"I'd like to see you do better."

She grins and wipes her hands together to prepare herself. She sucks in a breath and does the move perfectly. Her arm flicks to the best and her smirk perfected the move even more.

"Well darn you."

She laughs as they all sit down and relax, taking in their studio surroundings. She was in the studio. Her studio.

"Perfect." Brad blurts out while looking straight at Indie.

"I'm sorry?"
