Ramona Dursly had heard dangerous valiant tales of a mysterious school called Hogwarts. Her father told them to her rather than fairy tales, despite her grandparents outrage. According to Mr. Dursly, she was related to the greatest hero of all time in this "wizarding World." She had listed to his intricate tales with rapturous delight, but as she grew older Ramona was forced to accept the otter ridiculousness of his stories-her father however insisted that the stories were completely true no matter how much she told him that "she was a little girl anymore!"
The one story that always stuck in her head was the one about the letters. A race against letters! how many ludicrous! It was this one, the most unbelievable of them all, that somehow almost convinced her of the authenticity of the so-called visiting world. And it was this story of her fathers that she was dreaming about when,at promptly 7 AM there was a loud knock on the door.
Startled awake, when none of blew up in bed eyes wide open. Her turquoise hair flew in mats around her face. She didn't resemble anyone hit family because she could change her appearance.
There was no telling what her natural appearance was, because she had changed many times since birth, according to her father.
So she was often, when startled her eyes almost 5 times their natural size which happened to scare quite a few people, not including strange man at Ramona's door.
And you're right she had forgotten, or perhaps not noticed her overly large eyes, as she shot down the stairs to open the door. As it flew open Reminders large eyes beheld probably the strangest person she is ever even dreamt of.
A short stout man with a wild tuft fizzy orange hair stood before her, but even that wasn't the oddest part... The man was wearing an old frock on top of swimming trunks and on top of that, a plane pair of old red suspenders. The man's total appearance painted a picture of extreme oddity, but then Ramona realized that she, with tennis ball sized eyes, and hair like an aquamarine lions mane couldn't look much better.
"hello Ramona!"plump man squeaked "How are you this morning?"
"I-um-good?"she managed to get out. "Er...how do you know me?"
"All good time dear, all in good time! Now I think I shall come in don't you?"he attempted to waddle inside but at this point Ramona was close to frightened."No." She said flatly. "But I will get my dad." "Right right of course!" Said the little man.
When Ramon Told her dad he didn't seem surprised, which almost scared Ramona more than the squat man's extensive knowledge about her. She did as your father asked, warily, inviting him and this sitting around while Mr. Dursely attempted to make himself presentable.
The man sat and launched into speech.
"I used to be in correspondence with your mother."
Ramona didn't hear the rest. She couldn't hear anything after the first absurd sentence. How could this man known her mother? When this happened? Get her father know? Her mother died with a lot of skeletons in her closet, reminding you that much. She had missed most of the first part of his little speech, finally zoned back in, when he had apparently gotten to the important part.
"she told me that Vernon knew what she was, that had never told you about her past. She attempted to abandon it."he continued."but dear, the fact is", he paused, peering at Ramona with uncertainty clear and visible in his eyes. "You grew up hearing tales of a strange, and of course, magical world. Ramona... Your a witch."
