Today is one of those days na mababadtrip ka nalang dahil nandito nanaman ang mga Ateneo boys. Its january already so naghahanap na sila ng date nila for prom, and di ko maintindihan bakit sa Poveda sila mahilig mag punta.
We're having our lunch break in the mall when a guy called out one of my friends.
"Jana!"
"Uy Anton! Hi."
We look at Anton and he already got my attention beacuse he is chinito and cute pero medyo sablay sa height.
"What are you doing here?"
"Sinamahan lang namin yung senior namin. He made a prom posal kasi to one of your schoolmates."
"Oh ok. Mag isa ka lang? Gusto mo mag join nalang samin for lunch?"
"Is it ok lang ba with your friends? Wala narin kasi maupuan eh. Pero I have company, 2 lang naman sila."
Sempre we say na ok lang. Ang rude naman pag di namin sila pinaupo and besides medyo malaki rin talaga yung nakuha naming table. After a while dumating na yung two guys na kasama ni Anton. One of them is good looking and the other guy is tall.
"Guys, this is Jana my friend and this are her friends. Jana this are my classmates, this is Jigs. " He pointed the good looking one "And this is Thirdy." The tall guy.
Jigs is really quiet, while thirdy is so madaldal. He's asking me so much and its so random. Like a minute ago we're talking about dogs and now cars. He's really fun to be with lalo nat di sya nauubusan ng kwento. Di namin namalayan what time na and it turns out malapit na matapos ang lucnh break namin. Kailangan na namin bumalik sa school so we said good bye na to the guys, we're actually on a rush nung umalis kami kaya di na nakapag paalam ng maayos.
After 2 days since mameet namin sila Anton, someone texted me.
"Hi Bea!"
I didnt reply because di talaga ako nag rereply sa mga di naka save sa contacts ko.
"Ang sungit naman di nag rereply. Wala ka naman class sabi ni Jana."
This time nag reply na ako
"Who's this?"
"Thirdy. Hi bea!"
"Kanino mo nakuha number ko?"
"Sa yellow pages."
"Should I laugh ba? Why you texted me?" but in my mind medyo natawa ako sa ka cornyhan nya.
"Masama mag text? Free ka ba mamaya?"
"Depende. Libre mo ba?"
"Yeah libre ko. So free ka ba?"
"Yeah free." Im smilling not because of kilig but because of the libre hahahaha jokey
"Free ka mahalin?"
"Ang corny naman."
After that day Thirdy and I became close, Its easy because we're both athletes and we understant each other. Every free time nagkikita kami, minsan with our friends but most of the time kaming dalawa lang. I didnt give meaning to that since wala namang sinasabi si Thirdy. Ayaw ko naman mag assume so I still treat him as a guy friend kahit na almost 1 year na kami nalabas. He's so patient and determined na lumabas kami kahit na medyo nagiging busy na dahil patapos na ang junior year.
