After I told her my story she just look at me as if thinking what to say.
"You dont need to say anything Jho. Thank you for listening. So there you are, is Thirdy the one's in your mind?"
"Actually, No." She said na ikinagulat ko.
"What? Then who is?"
"Akala ko si Isaac?"
That made me laugh so hard. Isaac Go? Ngayong college lang kami nagkakilala hahahahaha.
"Wth Jho? Isaac? Sino nagsabi sayong friends kami since high school?" Natatawa parin ako habang tinatanong ko sya
"Sabi ni ate ells may friend ka daw sa MBT since high school pero di nya sure sino basta daw matangkad. I assume its Isaac kasi sya ang pinaka matangkad."
Hahahahahaha wth talaga.
"At bakit nyo naman ako pinag uusapan ni ate ells?"
"Wala lang nag tanong lang sya bat bigla tayong naging close. And napapansin nya rin yung pag iwas mo sa MBT kaya nagtanong sya if nakatampuhan mo nga daw ba si tall friend. Tall friend tawag namin sa kanya since di namin alam sino sya hahahahaha."
"Its none other than Thirdy Ravena. But hey, Im happy for him because I know naman na happy sya. As long as he's happy, then Im happy."
"Pwede na ihilera sa Gomburza to."
We both laugh at her remarks.
2 weeks passed and its already ateneo's bonfire, my first ever bonfire. Im so excited lalo na't aakyat kami as a champion mamaya sa stage. Buong bonfire im with Jho and my teammates lang, medyo madami talagang naki celebrate samin ngayon kaya crowded.
"Hey bei."
I heard a familiar voice at my back. When I turn around he's standing in front of me giving me the widest smile, then offer me a hug.
"Congratulations in your first championship. Take note on your first year anddddd muntik maging ROY pa. Masyadong isinapuso ang magis."
He look so sincere habang sinasabi nya yun. He's still a good friend I thought.
"Sus wala ka nga nung championship namin eh."
"Im so sorry na busy ako."
"Psssh yeah right."
"Picture naman."
Said one of the people na nandito sa bonfire. We pose side by side but nagulat ako when he put his arms around ny neck.
"Thank you."
"What are you doing?" I ask
"What?"
"Dont you have a girlfriend?"
"Yeah. So?"
"Alam mo namang iniisue tayo. Ayoko lang maging reason para pag simulan ng mga issue issue na yan."
"Billie knows you, and she knows na we're good friends. Im sorry din if I put you in that position."
Parang nahurt sya sa sinabi ko kaya na guguilty ako.
"Im sorry Thirds if I offended you in any way, its just that I dont want us to have that issue. We're friends, billie is my brothers friend so I dont want things to be complicated and awkward. Im sorry and thank you for congratulating us."
I can still see the hurt in his face thats why I give a punch in the stomach.
"Wag kana maarte, sorry na nga eh."
