Im here at Gesu asking for forgiveness about what I felt earlier this day.
I saw them outside school. Ang saya nya with her at naiinis akong makita yun. Maybe im selfish to say this pero I dont want him to see that happy with her, because it only reminds me na di ko sya kaya pasayahin ng ganun.
While praying narinig kong may umiiyak sa may bandang dulo ng Gesu. Lumapit ako to ask if okay lang sya and turns out its jho, my teammate.
"Jho"
I said as I sat besider her. She looks up while crying and hug me as if we are that close.
Jho and I are just teammates. Nothing more, nothing less. Outside the court we're not close. Maybe because we have different personalities and different group of friends. She seemed so mature in life thats why I saw her as a boring person.
She cried her heart out habang nakayakap sakin, and I dont want it to be awkward so niyakap ko nalang rin sya, afterall mukang kailangan nya talaga ng comfort.
After a while medyo kumalma na sya. Nagulat ako ng bigla syang tumawa ng malakas. Baliw ata to I said to myself.
"Akalain mo yun I stayed for that relationship for 3 more months kahit na maraming nagsasabi saking may iba na sya. Mas pinili ko sya paniwalaan kasi baka may gusto lang manira samin. Pero nakita ko silang dalawa kanina, ang saya saya nya habang kasama nya yung babae."
After she said that I instantly like her as a friend, I thought na di ako nag iisa sa nararamdaman ko. Na may kasama ako sa mundong to na nasasaktan dahil di sila pinili ng mahal nila.
"I dont know what to say to comfort you and make you feel better because I have the same problem and to be honest I dont know what to do hahaha. But I can assure you that from now on I can be your listener and friend."
She look at me with a doe eyes and smile, a genuine smile. First genuine smile she gave me since we became teammates.
"Thank you, Bea. You dont need to say anything, just be there for me and I will be here for you too."
I smile back at her. A genuine smile.
"Since di masyado maganda ang una nating pagkikita as friends and di rin naman tayo ganun ka close as teammates. Siguro mas maganda if we start over. Hi Im jho your teammate and your new friend."
I laught cause its so corny. Akala ko sa movies lang nangyayari to.
"Hi Im bea. And since we are now friends I will make your life so exciting."
"So your saying Im boring?"
"Ahh yeah?" I laught at her reaction.
"Yeah. Bully ka nga talaga."
"Hey Im not."
"Its okay. Im boring naman."
We smiled and since that night we found a bestfriend in each other.
