Nash's POV:

"Your cousin?" I asked Colton, the guy who dared me and invited me to the party. Confusion was clearly written on my face now.

"More like my loser-of-a-cousin. She's upstairs in the room at the end of the hall." Colton shouted over the loud, pounding music. I stared at the wall ahead of me, blankly.

"C'mon Nash, you can't back out on a dare." Kacie, the popular blonde girl who had pulled me to play truth or dare, said. Instantly, memories of last year came back to me. Those painful memories that I had tried so hard to forget. I just wished I could press an imaginary delete button and they would go away forever!

But that one dare that changed everything, the one dare that had changed my life completely could not be forgotten.

I slowly got up into a standing position and took small steps to the stairs. It's not like I hadn't kissed girls before. Now, girls were practically throwing themselves at me. I was just scared, because it was a dare....

I heard hoots of laughter behind me as I took one step of the stairs at a time. I reached the hallway and approached the last door. Red flags were going off in my brain. The new, bad Nash didn't care. I hesitated before knocking , but ended up doing it.

The door sprang up open and I was met with the one and only, Emily.

"What are you doing here?" Emily asked, putting emphasis on the word 'you'

"What are you doing here?" I asked her. She put her hands on her hips and stared at me. That was the first confrontation we had in a year. She still managed to take my breath away. Her long, brown beautiful wavy hair fell down her back and a few strands hung around the front. Her cheeks were rosy red and lips turned into a frown. Here eyes were their usual brown color, but I noticed they had lost the twinkle in them. She was wearing a white lacy skirt with a sparkly black tank top. Her shoes were brown cowgirl boots. She hadn't really changed at all. Maybe, just grown a bit. She was almost my height now...

She observed me quietly, her eyes never leaving me. I felt a tap on my back and I saw Colton. He pulled me into the hallway and whispered in my ear, "There's another condition to the dare. After kissing her, you have to pretend to like her. If you don't do it, im pretty sire you won't stay popular for long."

He simply walked away, and left those words echoing in my brain. I had too much at stake to not do this dare.

The tables were turned, Emily. Not it was my turn and the perfect opportunity for revenge...
