Chapter 1

"Mom please!"I begged her. My mom told my sister and I that we were going to move Compton. I kept on complaining to my mom about moving all day but my sister on the other hand was okay with it." Mom why do we have to move? I like it here with my friends. I won't be able to see them ever again!"I yelled at my mom. I could tell that my mom had enough of me complaining."Annabelle we're moving to Compton to be closer to your father.I can't keep driving three hours every weekend for you girls to visit him."she said. My mom and dad got divorced two years ago.They didn't have much in common so they separated but there great friends now. My dad got remarried a few months ago.I didn't like the idea that he got remarried but she's a nice women. My mother is still single and I hope one day she will find someone just like my dad.

I went upstairs to think but I ran into my sister Elizabeth. Elizabeth was thirteen and I was fifteen."Liz do you like the idea of moving?"I asked. "Yeah I am,I'm going to miss my friends and the school but if it means getting to live closer to dad I'll do it."she said."Don't you want to be able to see dad more than just seeing him on the weekends?"she asked me. I thought about it for a while."yeah I do."I smiled and she smiled back.

"Anna!Liz! time for dinner"she called out from downstairs.I ran down the stairs."Man I was starving"my mom started laughing.Liz came downstairs so my mom started serving us. Once we all got served we dug in."ooo my god mom this is delicious."I told her with my mouth filled with food ."Hun don't talk with your mouth full"she smiled. "And thank you"she smiled again.
"Okay I know you don't want to move Anne..."but I cut her off"No mom it's okay I thought about ...and my sister faked cough."okay fine haha Liz convinced me about moving. It will be good to live near my dad and to be able to visit him more often." I said
"Thank you Liz so we need to plan. We will be begin to pack tomorrow after school so don't go and make plans."
she grinned. "We have to have everything packed by Friday."she said
"Okay we got it" me and Liz said at the same time and we stared at each other and began to laugh.My mom just stared us like were crazy.We helped my mom clean up the kitchen and headed upstairs. I brushed my teeth and put on my onesies. Yes I still wear them I'm cool like that. I jumped into bed with thoughts then few minutes later I fell asleep.
