Chapter 31

~Anna p.o.v~

Today is Wednesday. I left school early on Monday and didn't go to school on Tuesday. Not even today. In two days is homecoming and I don't want to go. I want to stay here in my bed watching tv.

I'm too heart broken. My eyes are red and puffy from crying these past nights. My mom would come and comfort me but it didn't work.

I don't want to see Alex anymore. My friends leave me text but I don't answer them.
"Honey I'm going to go shopping for the baby do you want to come?"

"No it's okay mom I just want to stay here."
"Okay Anna I'll be back later."

I heard the car leaving and I looked out my window. I kept staring until I heard a knock at the door.

I walked downstairs not caring how I looked like. I opened the door and a smiled appeared on my face.

"I brought you some pizza and candy"
"Awh Steven" I went to hug him and we began to eat the pizza.

We sat in the living room eating pizza in silence until Steven spoke up.

"So you haven't been going to school people are worrying. I would ask why but I already know."

"I just can't go and face Alex. He has most of my classes and I just can't."

"You don't think it sucked for me when we broke up. Seeing you everyday and wanting to be with you."

"You need to man up Anna and go to school. Ignore Alex." Steven said.
"Okay" I smiled.

"So what about homecoming?"he asked.
"I don't want to go but I have no choice. I'm up for homecoming queen so I need to show up." I said.

"I know your going alone and I want ask you if you want to go to homecoming with me?"he asked shyly.

Aww how that really sweet. Steven giving an effort to put a smile on face. While my friends are just sending texts asking if I'm okay.

I smiled at him and nodded.
"I'll love too." I said and smiled.

~Steven p.o.v~

She said yes! Woohoo.

I got the ring pop out of my pocket and handed to her.
"Brought you a ring pop."
She started to laugh and I smiled.
That's the smiled I wanted to see.

"What are you wearing?" I asked her. I need to match with her obviously.
" I got to match with you Anna" I laughed.

She got my hand and ran upstairs.
She looked through her closet and found the dress. It was navy blue color.

"It's beautiful" I said.
Just like you Anna.
"Thank you Steven. What are you going to wear then."
"I'll go buy something today." I said.

I checked my phone and it's time for me to go.

"Anna I need to go before my mom worries. I'll see you tomorrow right?"
"Haha yup I'll go just for you" Anna said.

I gave her a hug and squeezed her and gave her kiss on the cheek.

I waved goodbye and headed home.
