Chapter 20

~Anna p.o.v~

"Steven?" I said.

"Anna I umm"he said.

"What?"I said. I have no idea what he wants to tell me.

"Anna I-" was all Steven said. He ran off. Whatever he had to tell me made him nervous. What did he have to tell me?

I couldn't see him anymore because it was getting dark. I closed my window and sat on my bed. I plugged in my headphones and fell asleep while listening to music.

It was the morning and I got up to pick out an outfit. I picked high waisted shorts and a pink crop top. I slipped on my converse. I went to the bathroom and did my hair and my make-up. My mom was sleeping and I heated up waffles.

My sister went downstairs and I heated up waffles for her. We ate in silence.

I finished my waffles and washed my plate. I headed upstairs and brushed my teeth. My mom was up from bed and she just brushed her hair and drove us to school.

~Alex p.o.v~

I got up to my mom yelling at me to get up from bed. I stretched and put my clothes on. I had on a navy blue button up shirt and Levi jeans and my Nikes.

I went to my bathroom and did my hair. I sprayed my cologne all over my body. My sister Valerie walked in and began coughing. "Damn you don't need that much cologne! "She said. "Yeah I do I gotta spell good"I said. "Sure ma is calling you"my sister said and walked out.

I headed downstairs. "What mom!"

"What did you say?!"she said giving me death glare.

"Sorry!I mean yes ma?"I said.

Im really scared of my mom. Hispanic women are beyond scary.

"That's what I thought. Take the laundry upstairs right now"she demanded. I got the bucket of laundry and took it upstairs.

I got my backpack and my dad took me to school.

"Dad in two weeks is homecoming"I said.

"Really? How are you going to ask Anna?"he said.

"I don't know do you have any ideas?"I asked.

I looked at him and he was in deep thought.

"I can't think of anything right now but when I do I tell you."he said.

The reason I go to my dad is because he always thought of good ideas. That's why my mom fell in love with him.

We were at school and I got out of the car.

"See yeah papi"I said.

"I'm going to punch you"he said.

I laughed and walked into the school.

Everyone is watching me and I mean most of the girls. They always keep their eyes on me but I don't pay attention to the girls because Anna is my girl.

I found Andrew and we walked."lets go see if we made the team"I said.

We walked to the bulletin board that's in the school where they post most of the news. I looked around and board and found the list . I skimmed down to find my name. I couldn't find it and I was a bit disappointed till Andrew yelled. "We made varsity bro!"he said.

I looked at the list he was looking at and there I see name under varsity.

'Alex Gonzalez'

Andrew and I headed out to the cafeteria and sat down at our usual table we've been sitting at.Our other friends found us and they sat down.

"Yo ima go and get some breakfast"I said to my friends.

They all nod and I head to the lunch line.

~Anonymous p.o.v~

I was sitting at the lunch table with all my friends and I zone them out.

I kept my eyes on Alex since he got up from the table.

He has the most beautiful green eyes. I could look into his eyes forever. Alex's spiked brown hair.His beautiful smile.

Alex is the most cutest guy in the world and I wish he can be mine but he's dating Anna. They deserve each other but on the other hand me and Alex would make such a cuter couple.

"Hey!"my friend said.

"W-what?"I said.

"We saw you looking at Alex"she said. My cheeks began to heat up." N-no I wasn't"I stuttered. "You were and your blushing but that's Anna man you can't take him from her."she said.

"Ugh I know"I said.

Oh yes I can.

~Anna p.o.v~

I walked into the school and do my usual routine. Go to the cafeteria and find my friends.

"I sat down and Bri grabbed my wrist and we headed out of cafeteria.

"Where are we going?!"i asked.

"The list is up!"she said.

We both ran and made it where the list is hung up.

"I can't look I'm nervous."I said.

"I will do it for you"she said.

"No I will do it"I said.

I took a deep breath and skimmed through the list.

I wasn't in the jv list so I checked varsity. I screamed...

"Omgosh I made varsity!"I said. This made my day. "High five me too!"Bri said.

We ran to the cafeteria but a teacher said we had to stop running. I searched for Alex and I ran up to him and hugged him.

"Someone seems happy"he said.

"Because I am!!"I said with the biggest smile on my face.

"Why so happy babe?"he asked.

"I made varsity!"I said.

He got up and hugged me. "Congrats baby I knew you could do it"Alex then kissed me.

"What about you?"I asked.

"Varsity"he said and high fived Andrew.
