I fell in love with a skater

Chapter 4

I fell asleep in car.When I woke up we were still on the road."mom how much longer?" I asked."only a few minutes hun."she said. I looked back to check on my sister and she was also sleeping.I was looking out the window and began to see buildings.We're almost there.

A few minutes passed by and we were finally here.It was around seven and the sun started to set.We were unpacking all the stuff from the moving truck.There was so many boxes,I thought we weren't going to finish since its only my mom,Liz and me.

My sister and my mom were in the kitchen setting some of the boxes down and I went outside to get more boxes. When I heading out the door I heard mumbling in the truck. I didn't know what to do.What if it was a robber trying to take out stuff?
But when I was about to see who it was the man came out. When I saw who it was I didn't know how to react.
"Dad!" I yelled and ran up to him and hugged him."hey Anna!"my dad said."I came to surprise you guys and I knew you guys were going to need help getting these boxes."He said."you guys are weak ducklings"he said laughing.

My sister ran out and hugged my dad.
My mom also came and joined the group hug.Even though there not together there great friends.It makes me happy that it doesn't make things awkward.

"Ok ladies lets unpack this truck!" My dad said. We all started getting boxes but I stopped when I looked ahead.My mom was outside with me. " um mom what's there?" I asked. " I think your father said a skate park."my said.
"Ohh great" I groaned. " what's wrong Hun?" My my asked.

I hated skaters.There was a lot of skaters at the school and most of them were jerks.

"I hate skaters mom.Skaters are jerks to everyone and knowing I live in front of a skate park.."I didn't continue. " oh it's okay Hun it's not like your going to talk them." She said. " you never leave the house anyways."she giggled.

She was right it wasn't like Im going to come outside and interact with them.I let it go then started getting boxes again.

Hours passed and we finally got most of the stuff unpacked. We mostly needed to unpack our clothes and get our beds in our room.
Were done packing for today. I got my pajamas and took a shower and went to sleep. Had to get my sleep since we have to finish unpacking.
