You sit cross-legged on your bed reading a graphic novel until your brother bursts into your room.
"I'm bored!" He says
"So, read a book" you say as you turn the page.
"But I don't wanna!!!" He pouts.
"Fine." You say looking around your room for something to do, you happen to see your window. You walk over to look out of it. "Hm. How about we meet our neighbors, it couldn't hurt to be social!"
"Literally anything beats sitting around and watching you read comic books" Jayden says as he rolls his eyes.
"Graphic novels..." you growl back. "Anyway!" You shout trying to change the subject "let's go!" You walk to the door, Jayden following. "Let's go to this house first" it was the red house right next to yours. You walk up and ring the doorbell.
A man with a blue hoodie and pitch black eyes answers the door. "Hi-" you begin, he just stared at you for a few seconds and closes the door.
"Ok rude." You say as you turn to walk away. Then you hear the door open again. You turn back around, this time to see a different man with a green hoodie and brown hair. He was holding a Cola can.
"Hello!" He says. "Please excuse tom, he can be kind of rude... Anyway what made you stop by?"
"Well.." You start "I'm Y/N! and this is my brother Jayden, we just moved in and thought we would say hi." Jayden waves.
"Hi i'm Edd." He says "and I live here..." He continues, smiling.
You smile back at him, there was something about him that made you seem like you could fly, he was just so sweet and funny.
"Well you've met Tom already." He said rolling his eyes. He turns and calls "Matt!! Come and meet our new neighbors!"
You see a ginger haired man come to the door. "Hi i'm Matt! The handsome one here!" He says. He pulls out a mirror to admire himself.
"Well IM Y/n and this is Jayden!" You repeat for Matt.
You hear a voice call from his house "EDD! THE CHILDREN IS ON! COME QUICK!!!"
"JUST A MINUTE TOM!" Edd calls back. He turns and smiles at you and Jayden. "Nice meeting you. See you soon?"
"O-ok" You respond.
"That got boring quick" Jayden says. "I want to go home now..." He starts to walk home.
"Whatever!" You say following him. You walk into the living room, pick up the remote, and turn on "The Children"
