You get out of the car and look at your ankle brace, "it wasn't even that bad...." you think. "You just fell down the bank stairs!"
You walk up to Edds house being sure not to put too much pressure on your foot and ring the doorbell.
Tom answers the door. "Oh, hey Y/N." He looks down at your leg "woah! Wha-"
Edd runs up. "Hey! Y/N! What brings you by?"
"Well, I wanted to let my friends know that I...... sprained my ankle" you sigh.
"Oh...." Edd says. "How?"
"I fell down the steps.." you shrug.
"Another friend of mine recently hurt her leg..." Edd says. "I don't know how, but you just reminded me of her, I don't think it was anything too serious."
"Who is it?" You ask him.
"No one important..." he says quickly.
"What friend?" Tom asks. "I don't know who your talking about."
"She's not that big of a deal" Edd says. "When did you break it?" He asks, clearly trying to change the subject.
"I need a drink" Tom sighs and walks away.
"Yesterday." You answer. "I was getting a glass of water and "whoops!" You know?"
"Yeah.... Wait! I almost forgot!" Edd runs inside, leaving you outside to think to yourself.
"Is that girl he is talking about his girlfriend? What if it is? What if I'm over reacting, she's probably just a friend. What if she isn't???? Why do I have to like him sooo much??
Your thoughts were interrupted by Edd returning.
"Hey Y/N.... remember when I asked to keep the picture from the roller coaster?" He asks.
"Yeah." You say. "Why?"
"I wanted it, for this." He holds out two peices of paper.
You take the pieces of paper. "Wh-what's this?" You notice that one of them is the picture from the ride.
"The other picture is a drawing of mine." Edd shrugs. "Just a doodle I thought I'd draw for you."
You look at the other drawing, it's a redraw of you guys on the rollercoaster, but you guys are in space, with what looked like..... cats?
"Cats?" You ask.
"Yup. Space cats!" Edd says grinning.
"I love it! Thank you Edd!"
"Turn it around." Edd says.
You flip it over and it has Edds phone number on it.
"We never actually exchanged phone numbers so.... I thought I would do it on there." Edd says blushing. "Unless you don't want to!" He says quickly. "You don't have to!"
"Sound great." You say "well my foot is starting to hurt. See you soon?"
"Yup! That's pretty swell! Seeing you soon! Not your ankle!" Edd says.
"O-ok..." you say blushing. You thought he was just so adorable.
You go inside your house and lean on the door.
"Talking to your boyfriend?" Jayden asks.
"Shut up." You say sighing.
