The next day you get up bored. You knew that your brother was gonna be busy with something in his life or something, and you didn't wanna play video games so you decided to go over and ask Edd if you wanted to watch "The Children". You just wanted an excuse to hang out with him.
You knock on the door and wait for an unnecessarily long time. You were about to walk away, but you hear the door open behind you. You turn around to see Tom, bags under his eyes, messy hair and looking just terrible.
"What is it?" Tom groans.
"Oh I'm sorry!" You say "Where's Edd?"
"Sleeping." Tom says grouchy "So is Matt."
"I'm sorry again!" You realize how early it is. "Did I wake you?"
"No." Tom sighs "I've been up for hours. I just feel horrible though."
"Like your sick?"
"Of course not! I just have bags under my eyes, been up for hours feeling like I'm gonna puke my liver out, and feeling horrible for fun!" Tom rolls his eyes. Maybe he did you couldn't tell.
You also notice Tom seems to be a bit more snappy than usual.
Edd walks up behind Tom. "Tom who are you talking t- oh hey Y/N!"
"Hey Edd!" Do you know what's up with tom?"
"No?" Edd says confused.
"It's ok really." Tom says "My head is pounding though."
"Oh?" Edd cocks his head. "You don't look too good either..."
"Gee thanks Edd! You think I didn't know that??" Tom snaps.
"Woah sorry tom! I was just trying to help!" Edd takes a step back.
"Whatever... I'm going to my room" Tom walks away crossing his arms.
"Do you want us to get you anything?" Edd offers.
"I don't need anything! Can't you just leave my alone?!
"Geez..." Edd says looking behind him.
"Hey wanna watch "The children" at my house while Tom cools off some steam?"
"Yeah sure." Edd says putting a hoodie over his pajamas. "I am really worried about him... I'm sure he has never acted like this when he was sick."
"I'm not really sure. I sometimes act cranky when I'm not feeling well?" You say trying to stay positive.
"Guess your right" Edd says.
You guys walk over to your house.
You shouwinside "Jayden! Get off the video games! We have a guest!"
"What why? So you can...." he starts making weird kissy faces.
"Become a puffer fish thing?" Edd asks looking at him weird.
"Sure...." He drops the controller in your hand.
"Shut up." You say red as a tomato.
"Can I watch though?" Jayden asks leaning on the couch.
"No!" You say.
"Oh come on." Edd says. "He is my neighbor too."
"Fine" you say plopping on the couch and turn on "The children"
