You wake up the next morning and look at your poorly wrapped leg, You have no idea how to wrap a hurt ankle.
Your brother walks in with a bowl of cereal. "Hey! Why were you up so late again???" He takes a bite of the cereal. "And WOAH! What happened to your ankle!"
"I uh......." you look around "fell down the steps! That's it!" You suddenly say.
"Oh. What's new? Why is it wrapped so terribly? Did you wrap it?" He asks still eating his cereal.
You sigh "yes I did wrap it.... Hey can I have some cereal?"
"No way!" He snaps. "This is the last bowl!"
"Fine." You get out of bed hoping that your ankle would feel better, but it still hurt so you leaned on the wall.
"Do you need to go to the hospital or are you over reacting?" Jayden says rolling his eyes.
"I'm fine!" You say. "I'm gonna re-wrap my ankle and see if I can hang with Edd..." you say limping away.
"So you can kissy-kiss!" Jayden says making kissy faces.
"You are so weird." You roll your eyes at him.
Once you walk out of the bathroom you try walking on your foot again but wince.
"Ok." Jayden says walking over to you "we are taking you to the hospital...."
"But I don't want to!" You argue.
"Too bad." He says putting one of your arms over his shoulder, and walks you out to the car.
The drive to the doctors seems shorter than you thought. Perfect. You limp in with your brother behind you.
Jayden schedules you in and you wait for what seems shorter than expected again. You walk into the death room called the check up room.
The nurse walks in and examines your foot as you wince some more, and she writes things down. You were even more worried at her concerned expressions.
"I'm gonna get Dr. Menios, sweetie. You wait here." She gets up and leaves the room.
"So, how are you doing?" Jayden asks.
"Still hurts." You say "but I'm sure it's not too serious."
"Ok good" he says. "But how did you fall down the stairs anyway?"
"Ummm.... uhh. Because I..... because I'm clumsy!"
"Figures" he says.
Dr. Menios walks in."Hello Y/N and Jayden! What seems to be the problem?"
You look down at your ankle and dr. Menios follows your gaze. "Your ankle I see." She kneels down and takes a look at you ankle.
She slightly moves your ankle and you wince some more.
"Does this hurt?" She asks moving your ankle.
"A little."
"Ok... what about this?" She moves it some more.
"Yes...." you answer.
"Well I think your ankle may be sprained" she says standing up. "I don't think you need crutches, But I can give you an ankle brace. Just try not to walk on it so much."
"Ok Doc." Jayden answers.
After you get your ankle brace you and your brother start to head home.
"Should I let Edd know about my ankle?" You ask him.
"And Tom and Matt. There are three of them...." he responds.
"Oh right." You answer blushing. "I think I will let them know."
